Limiting who can join public games by level

Postby tom913 on Sun May 25, 2025 7:03 pm

Is anyone besides me sick and tired of the weighted point system for wins and losses? It takes me 4-5 wins to regain the points I lose if a low level player with a 13% win rate, for example, has better luck with the dice and wins. I wish CC allowed us to set parameters for a minimum level of player to join games we create. It is demoralizing, and frankly takes the fun out of CC once one attains a high level to lose so many points to newbies or scrubs.

I don't mind so much losing 20 points in a game if I'm outplayed or my opponent is luckier. Losing 60 points in one game because a cook or private had better dice makes me feel like quitting this site, and I've been here for many years.

AMEN!!! Nothing but praise from the Black Jesus on this one!! Go to the suggestions forum! Better yet, a MOD should move this to suggs and bugs!!! I for one do not like to play with people that have goofy ass avatars that contain pics of feral/rabid "dogs." Who wants to stare at a flea bag while playing CC?!!!

The black jesus has openly mocked your silly idea that has been suggested/debated and kicked to the curb, multiple times. The black jesus has spoken...-Jesus noir

*Full disclosure-I was once part of squad of low level players that sniped big dogs for massive point hauls. We mostly did it watch them cry in the forums. Looks like not much has changed around here*

So your response to a sincere question is mockery? Gotcha.
I agree on you on one thing, though--I find your ridiculous avatar, your name, and your attitude just as annoying. I have spoken.

It is no wonder that CC enrollment is declining. Rude members such as owenshooter are as off-putting as many folks are on social media. No problem--if CC doesn't listen to its members, it deserves a slow death.
