New recruits

has anybody wlse noticed an unusualy high number of new recruits on here lately?

out of my 54 games, I have 52 new recruits playing. I have 7 5 man games with just me and 4 new recruits. However, I don't mention them as multi's because they're all from different countries.

Certain maps are hidden from New Recruits on the Join a Game and Start a Game screen. This means the pool they initially choose from is lower---so if you are playing on one of the maps they do see, good chance you'll see an influx of New Recruits.

does this list change? and how about settings? I know dubs and such are hidden, but how about assassins? just curious...

there's also the fact that this is more recent than past... I play mostly feudal. my games haven't changed...

Maybe the site was just linked to from somewhere recently? If it's a sufficiently large site, we would see a sudden influx of new recruits.

Well, I spread the word about this game to my friends all time. Also, it's summer in the U.S. so lots of schools are out right now, people have more free time. That could be why.

they shouldn't be allowed to join those, because they really don't stand a chance

lol ! funniest thing I read since KH was out gimmicked in losing some points.

I don't know what's funny about it to be honest.

I'm guessing CC is getting popular because it's really a new thing, all these New Recruits immediately signing up.
I got the first one 3 months ago and a lot of them since then!

I've had at least 5 games against people higher than colonel in my past 100 games.
The amount of colonels+ on this site is lower than 2%)
So I have no clue as to where you got the idea that no 2500+ players join my games, because there are actually more than you would expect.

But I don't understand why you bring this up, because my games and my opponents' score don't matter here.
We're talking about the recent increase in New Recruits, and I wondered even more about how many of them buy premium before they completed 5 games.
In my own opinion, anybody who buys premium before playing at least a 100 games is too rich

Just don't let KLOBBER hear you say that; he's still playing Circus Maximus in the hope that some innocent New Recruits will join...
