A open letter of thanks

Postby ender516 on Mon Jul 06, 2009 11:15 pm

I was playing around lunchtime last Friday when I noticed that my rank insignia had turned GOLD  .
Not having ordered a premium membership, at first I thought it was a glitch. :?
But no, it was real! \:D/
Some generous soul had provided me with the key to the CC city.
Wondering who it could be, and still worried that it might be a mistake that would be corrected just when I got used to the power (the UNBELIEVABLE POWER 8-) ), I made an inquiry via e-ticket. Over the course of the weekend, I learned that it was no mistake and that the site administrators respect the privacy of anonymous benefactors.
So here I am, all dressed in GOLD, with no one to thank. :(
But thank you anyway, whoever you are, I hope I will make you glad you gave this gift. And thank you, everyone who plays, and chats, and works in the Foundry, and generally makes this site a great place to spend some time. =D>

well, when you got the greatest nation in the world protecting you 24/7, I guess you have a positive attitude about most things.

no, greenland. duh. ever heard of an ice missile? it melts when it hits the atmosphere, and then it just rains. its really depressing. the people of greenland have been doing this to england for centuries.

Indeed, and the fact that Wimbledon paid £80 million for a roof over centre court that was usuable for the first time in a year that provided the best weather for dcades.

No real surprise. I figured your "you're welcome" was on behalf of "everyone who plays, and chats, and works in the Foundry, and generally makes this site a great place to spend some time."

Funny, I always thought it was Canada protecting the USA from attacks by Russia. I mean, really, where did they put the Distant Early Warning Line, Texas? California? NEW JERSEY???
Plus, you have to keep an eye out for Santa's elves. Come the new year, they have nothing but time on their hands, and that only leads to trouble...
