What is 'chained' reinforcement?

I'm new to this site and beginning to like it a lot.
What I want to know is what 'chained reinforcment' means. It seems like ordinary reinforce rules to me.

it just means that you can reinforce from one territory to any other territory that is linked through a sequence of territories that you occupy. it could be the normal rules you play. potentially you can you reinforce troops from one side of the map to other, providing they can 'travel' through your territories to get there.

Yeah, with adjacent reinforcements you can move troops from one region to a neighbouring region only.

With chained reinforcements you can move troops from a single region to another region that is linked (in a chain, actually) to another one of yours, moving through as many of your regions as possible.

Unlimited reinforcements work the same way as chained, but you can move from as many regions as you like to as many as you like.
