that the ratings medal is f-ing gay and I don't want to sport it any longer. If I delete all of the ratings that I have left other members will my ratings medals go away?

You should probably delete all of your ratings anyway. They equal out to approximately jack squat.

IIRC it won't. A rating left is a rating left even if it is later retracted.

I thought that too. I left a bunch of ratings and then removed them all, but the medal stayed. A month later, the medal was gone. Now I am leaving ratings again but only to the people I actually have a good or bad opinion about.

From what I remember, yes the ratings medal went away, although I remember still having the medal and not having any ratings left. You'll have to ask a mod or lack to find out for sure.
