the truth is if you dont like this site why are you here? well? leave no one is making you stay! also i love this site there forms are great and there maps and games are what keep me here there staff is nice and i alway helpful so i would say cc is good

Weird I was recruited by the government to find people with aggressive mindsets who distrust the overall authority of the commonwealth in which they gather. Figured the name Conquer Club showed an aggressive mindset and after reading the forums the distrust of authority is obvious.

1. Yeah, a filter sometimes would be nice, but the Callout forum seems to work well enough.

I own the boardgame risk in my home. Theres no risk if you have no armies to risk at all because of all these unearthly drops and dice etc etc. BTW thanks for bumping a dead thread, you're doing CC forums a great favour

Like CC. Would not have stayed here for 2 years if I did not.

That said, playing every day for over 2 years (my few misses were only narrow misses), often with over 40, sometimes over 100 games and multiple forum debates is just getting to be too much.... and well, yes, even with a the many wonderful changes, just a bit "old".

I started because it was something I could do while holding my then fussy infant when I ran out of books to read. Now, my son is about to turn 3 and is definitely no longer content to simply sit in my arms (LOL) ... most of the time anyway (lol).

I cannot afford to renew my premium, but in truth, am ready to do other things for a while anyway. I have been playing in the morning, sometimes during naptime and usually at night. Now I just need to be doing other things. I am sure I will "pop" back in again here and there (still have games to finish, etc.)

So, am I going to stay? Probably not. Is there anything CC could have done to keep me longer? Also, probably not. In fact, I am not actually leaving, just cutting way back. (WAY back .. lol).

As for the "jerks" that I hear contantly dominate CC -- I cannot remember my game total, but it is pretty safe to say that over 2/3 of that total would be the number of people I have played. Even at half, I have, over the years, played a good many people of "all stripes". Inevitably, those who complain the most about "jerks" have either played very few games and probably in freestyle, to boot! OR are themselves the real problem. If you expect everyone else to follow "your rules" (as opposed to the stuff that is written down) OR decide that you have every right to break society rules (manners) and %$#% to anyone who disagrees ... well, you get what you give. That is true in life and it is true in CC.

I do have a foe list, but out of the thousands I have played, I have only met a handful of real and true jerks. Of those 2-3 were "forum foes" -- people who's nastiness in the forums I disliked, 2-3 were from games. ALL except 2 I put solely for having too long sigs (took me 5 minutes to see any thread where they posted) have been busted since.
