AOR3 starting positions? {closed}

I searched but I can't find anything on this, and I can't find it in the map thread.

I'm playing a 1v1 AOR3 game right now where I just found my opponent with a 1 on Life Rune 1 in Aoria. He did not hold Aoria, or any other territory around there.

My question is, how did he get there? Was that a starting position for him? If so, sucks for him. I got the Sanctuary and Figye, and he got Xi and Life Rune 1?

It's Game 5773395, although the game is still going and it's foggy so you won't be able to see anything until it's over. Has anyone else ever seen a starting position other than a castle or the sanctuary?

EDIT: After going to look up the game number, I realize I mis-read the game log. He did in fact have Aoria, and I just thought it was neutral. This post can therefore be disregarded and closed.
