the ones who are bolded are the only ones who I personally would consider as mafia AT THIS POINT IN TIME....now, im sure some of the bolded obv. aren't mafia, these are just those who have experience and seem to know what they are doing

I don't know if a game with just serial killers is possible (I suppose it could be), but two mafia groups does sound likely.

Now we just have to figure out how many mafia members there are. I believe 3 is average. Going off of that, I'd say 6 total mafia members (3 per group)

I don't think there is more than 1 mafia group. We only had 1 casualty last night. That means that either our doc got lucky on the 2nd group, or the 2nd group didn't kill, which would be odd.

I agree that we probably aren't up against 2 mafia groups, or we would have had two kills.

yeah, prob one. or two groups but, one has to be unlocked by the first kill....and we HAVE to figure out what unknown is.....prob. doctor, wouldnt that suck

Or another factor (which I've seen before) is that it's possible that the one mafia (could be a cult with killing abilities) can only kill every other night.

well, there definitely can't be more mafia than townies, since the mafia would just keep lynching townies with their majority then killing them at night.

unless there were 2 mafias...

and maybe a sympathizer...

and the mach thing...

and the no role thing...

and 18 bloody suspects...

and my head hurts now.

This has been live for, what, 8 hours? who still hasn't posted?

One other thing. The problem with P Gizzle's list is that there's no way for us to determine who might have been simply watching the last autoload game (altho I'll give credit to anyone dedicated enough to slog through the 500+ posts)... but if we start factoring that in we're back where we started, with 18 suspects (unless MB turns out to be right with his late confirmation theory, which I don't feel like I can comment intelligently about given my still-a-touch-wobbly grasp of nighttime game mechanics)

Also, I have a possible theory on mach. What if there is a role that can revive people from the dead? I don't know if it's possible, but when the next death scene is written, we may know for sure.
