Yeah I don't agree with the numbers but I agree it's quite simple with BT and Lynch D1, same D2 and we have a great chance to get the original thing. But its mainly luck tho.

In any case, the probability is what it is.... so when do we start seriously voting for the blood test?

I'm good whenever. We could quickly do a list of everyone's top 3 choices and then pick the one that gets mentioned most often or we can try to form a wagon and see what happens. Right now, I'm still thinking EW, Son!c and Ragian as my top 3.

As far as your math Votanic, it sounds like you're multiplying the decimals together and getting a smaller result because of it. That would only apply if it was we had to hit all of the criteria. We only need to hit one so the number should be higher. I just made a whole thing about it but deleted it because I think my method was wrong even if the math was right. Either way, I'm pretty sure we have a much higher chance then what you're saying.

Yeah, lets do this. Let's list Top 3 'Thing" and award 3 points for first place, two for second and 1 for third. The one with most points in the End gets the BT. (You can only vote for a player once, so not three times the same suspect giving him 6 points). And you can't vote yourself.

Add the score in your post so it remains easy to follow up. We have to get this Thing going.

Thing:

1: Trafalgarlaw01
2: Votanic
3: Pixar

Score:
Trafalgarlaw01: 3 points
Votanic: 2 points
Pixar: 1 point

Guys, you must not ignore the fact that there could be night actions as well when we do our calculations. We will only know for sure the morning of D2. So, I am with Sonic at the moment, let's get this thing going. I suggest we start with the BT, then we can decide on lynch right after that, only having to consider one less person.

I really think it is important to BT an experience player, so I will just change my vote now (South Africa is in the World Cup Rugby Final tonight, so i will not be here for the rest of the day, and probably a bit of head ace in the morning)

Even tho Sonic seems morr analytical this game he is as off as always

Anyway I think strike Idea is good. My priority to BT would be

1. Extreme Ways
2. Degaston
3. Strike

This sure sounds like you are trying to convince people not voting the BT on you. Why? You should be happy to get a BT (rather then a innocent Lynch later on) if you are town.

It's just a BT. Not a Lynch. Only the Thing should be scared of the BT.

I am not trying to convice anyone. And I am not arguing with you much. I learnt it bring no much good from the Tick game.
Also I will come clean from BT so we wont adv much from it. We want to find the thing not find clean tests.
But as I said not really gonna start an argiment if people want to BT me cause u get them to it then fine

A couple of people are suggesting Extreme. I've only seen him in two games. Well, one really... Why EW, @Traf?

To be honest, not real reason. I've got clue to suspect anyone at this point. He is a very smart player, same as Deg and Strike thats why I made my list out of them

I kinda dig the "who would I least want to be The Thing", but I also feel that a strategy - at least for me - could be that I would like to test the ones I am unfamiliar with: Votanic, Swang, Charle, Sonic, and perhaps Traf and EW.

That said, I feel that Pixar is waaaay too quiet for his M.O. I also don't like that Dega is not around.

Blood Vote:
(2). Pixar - EW, Swang
(2) Traf - Sonic, Charle

Lynch Vote:
None

With 10 alive, it takes 6 for majority

Traf is saying "no reason" to test EW. Im saying why we should test Traf. He is an experienced player after all.

In any case it's just a test. Nobody will get lynched. More than happy to take the test myself D2 if Traf gets tested today. Let's get this Thing going please. We are moving in circles atm.

So let's agree 2nd November is "deadline day" and on 2nd November we should have reached the 6 vote minimum to BT somebody?

4 more needed..

PS: If you see how hard it is to reach 6 votes even on D1 (9vs1) it will be a nightmare tomorrow...

Trafalgar put Extreme on top of his list to BT though. So not sure where you are getting this--

Lots of benefit to taking things slow and allow more posting--that is beneficial to town and I'm sure if we get an actually deadline imposed we can get our act together quick. No reason to self impose one.

Yes i agree, but DDS is back on 2nd november. We are 28th october now. We should get our act together on 2nd November because otherwise we will risk it's gonna turn into N1 without warning. 29 - 30 - 31 -01 -02 is 5 more days.. That should be enough?

I would certainly hope so, especially since this is all but a random guess.
I hope nobody minds that I'm just waiting to get on the biggest bandwagon.
I mean, do we need another source of strongly-held, yet meaningless, opinion?

It's a new game and I'm still disagreeing with Sonic

Genuine townies should also not be happy to get a BT because it wastes a BT for them, and only guarantees they are not the recruiter. If we test me D1 and it's D3, there are plenty arguments one can make for me being cult despite my BT saying I am not cult.

I dont like how Sonic immediately added point totals for the votes. If that were the case, I'd much rather have X points to distribute among a minimum of 2 people.

My votes would be:
2 points for Pix
2 points for Deg
1 for Votanic
1 for Strike.

I agree with Rag that dega has been quiet as well.

This excatly. Why would I want to BT someone I think its not the Thing. Plus I dont agree with Sonic logic of just saying hey if u get tested you'll be fine the rest of the game. the point its not being fine, the point its finding the Thing. Also Why the rush? Seems u need to practice on the patience.
Moreover, as said before day does not end without a warning.
