I don't particularly agree with S_L about the typing of what Ares said, as anyone with a decent enough knowledge of English and mafia could type that. As I was reading it, I kept wondering what "WC" meant, but then I remembered cause I remember working it out one day I'm smart like that.

But, saying that, I have a hunch on F1fth at the moment. I don't know why, it just strikes me as that. Not overly talkative but not under talkative either. He seems to be confident in something, and the whole --

Just as I suspected, it looks like both the God Groups (which I'll call "GGs" from now on because I'm lazy) are third-party, but independent of the town vs. scum conflict. So the question I ask all of you is should we get involved with this thing and end it quick, or let it resolve itself and mind our own?

This game reminds me of way back when. 70+ pages, all the best players going at it in intense discussion, ahh it's good to be back.

On topic, I think we ought to take on th GGs now. Even though they don't sound like much of a threat, we'll get involved whether we like it or not. Sort it out now before it becomes a big problem, I say.

Also, because of his more recent posts, I think that either Kwan was drunk/high/other when he posted, or he is Weebl of weebls-stuff.

Acronyms are total scum tells. I only use them for terms and phrases I make up, anyway.

But let me clarify that the reason I like this game so much is that the scum vs. town conflict and the Ares vs. Athena conflict are independent of each other. There might be scum and town on both sides, and another line is drawn, so it's seems like a really cool dynamic to me. Kinda reminds me of Civil War Mafia in a way.

And now that it's seeming like the popular opinion is that to get involved, where do we start?

Aye, but Homer is a disputed person. Theories of him being blind would complicate the roles [unless Skoffin didn't know that theory]. I'm thinking it's someone in the Iliad itself.

Again, PCM, I agree with that. Heinrich is a history of a false person. He had no knowledge of archaeology, and when he got what he wanted, he stole it and took it back to Germany. I wouldn't believe ani for what he says because of the history of Heinrich, though I don't think it would be based that much on it.

But, this game maybe based around the history of Greece and Asia Minor and people around them.

With Flores, I have no idea. Wasn't she the one that protested for women voting in Britain and then got hit by a horse? No idea with that one.
The1Exile - Herodotus, and he was biased [I just did a speech on him]. Came from Asia Minor but Greek heritage.
Clive - Thucydides - Possibly Skoffin's favourite historian because it tells of the Peloponnese wars. His colour is different from Herodotus' maybe because of different faction alliances or because Thucydides basically didn't believe what Herodotus wrote.

T1000's - from the future, obviously. Maybe trying to change the fate of Greek Mythology?

With the other role claims - Xena [didn't she have featured Greek Mythology in the show?], Heinrich Schliemann [obvious], and then there's also Athena and Ares [with rivalry, which is show in the game God of War]. Other claims, I think, I dono, haven't read the thread.

Was I the only one who saw what that meant? Reed skimmed and thought everyone is linked to Greece and Asia minor. Conclusion-reed's character is from greece and minor asia and his writing matches up with ares's

Warring Gods- I think the best thing us townies can do is ignore it. We can't really go after "God tells", as even if we find a member of one of the sides what are we gonna do? Lynch one every day until we find one of the gods- alot of wasted townies and free reign for the mafia for what could be a long time.

SL- can you tell us what happens to you if your god, and not the opposing one is lynched?

AD has been acting VERY strangely.. numerous posts just agreeing with poeple. He defended dito pretty heavily though so I don't really know what to make of him.

Yes, I voted for him because I was trusting in Ani's investigation.

It was only AFTER I voted Iliad that suddenly Ani's role seemed to have changed.

You seem like someone who could be either Athena or Ares. For the town to leave it alone would just make them sitting ducks for recruitment.

Yes because if I was Athena or Ares I'd be really keen to not go after a God wouldn't I, despite my win condition hinging on killing one

IF the groups can recruit (and do we really know whether they can or not?) there's still not really any way to distinguish between the leader and members of the group, and like I said before we'd be losing alot of potential townies and giving the mafia alot of free time

I'm still interested to know what happens to the members if their god is killed though

It looks like Athena and ares are capable of using the mic in rapid secession of each other, since there is only one P.A. room, this may mean they might have some form of contact possibly, or less likely are the same person.
Also it appears Ares is the person who has been singing and saying random things almost every day.
Let's see so far.
Day one Ares posted two messages
One was an inspirational message in Spanish,
The second was a claim of being Lord Voldemort, in song form (Now Sierra_Leon, our claimed Xena)

Day Two
An as of yet unknown voice said"To stop the infiltrators, You must find Helen of troy"
Ares said a quote from the Pokemon theme song.

Day Three
Athena uses the speaker for the first time posting that ares is scum or cult, Also in All Caps like this last message
Then there was today's message

From, this we can gather Sierra_Leon is either Ares, or Ares knew Who Xena Was and attempted to cause her to be lynched.
Also it is possible that there was a reason Athena was inactive for the first few days, but I can't think of it right now.
Let me think of a possible scenario....
I believe Salubri is Ares, who has known the identity of Xena (Lovo, Sierra) from the start, Xena is a anti-Ares lyncher with Athena currently, but she does not know her identity, because... She is unknowingly a Judas type role who will switch over to Ares' side after she is killed.
Bah, My logic sucks, But Vote Salubri anyways, since it's unlikely he's been telling the truth so far.
