Some game notes:
First, regarding recruiting - the initial Heretic Priest (Koesen) had the power to recruit any neutral (blue) role. After he died, his power passed to autoload, with a catch - in addition to only being able to recruit blue roles, auto had a 50% chance of failing any given attempt. After he died, the recruiting power passed to nagerous, who had a 2/3rds chance of failure. (Had the game continued after that, the next recruiter would have had a 5/6 chance of failure, after which the recruiting power would have died).
Second, recruiting happened during the day to give a bit of an extra edge to the scum, since after the first Inquisition I felt like they needed it. This led to a couple of awkward situations - for instance, on Day 2, Koesen recruited nag after nag had already denounced him, and on Day 6 nag got lucky and recruited moz, which is what resulted in the somewhat strange ending.
I probably should have ended the game immediately after moz was recruited, but since it was the middle of Day 6 I decided not to handle win/loss until the end of the day.
Regarding the disease:
LSU was permanently infected (sorry, Syzygy), and could pass the disease along during the day. The way he did this was by making a post where he coughed on someone, and then PMing me to confirm the cough. Thus, not everyone he coughed on was infected. He was restricted to infecting no more than one person per 24 hours, and no more than three people per game day.
He didn't
actually have a post restriction (that is, he didn't have to cough every time he posted), he only had to cough when he wanted to infect someone. (The coughing was included as a way to limit what was otherwise a horribly overpowered SK role.)
The disease itself also spread between players through night actions. Anyone infected who targeted someone else at night would infect their target. However, the only case where this actually matter was wicked infected ga7.
As for the deaths caused by the disease - two times during each day (once close to the beginning of the day, once close to the end) I would roll a die for each person infected. If the die came up 6, they died. Thus, despite having been infected on Day 1, wicked survived until Day 4 due to lucky rolling.
Lastly, the doc had the ability to cure people infected by targeting them, so long as the doc was not infected himself. (LSU was an exception; as the carrier, he was uncurable - given the nature of his role, allowing him to be cured would have made things just a touch too easy for the town.)
