And you're getting on my case for thinking you don't devote enough time to the game? You guys told me you spend two months just making joke votes. You told me anything I said would be ignored until then, and so far, it has been. I made a point about someone being suspicious, and no one said a word about it.

I am not joking when I vote Squirrel-I am genuinely suspicious of him due to his behavior.

And my vote isn't on isa. I changed it to Squirrel pages ago...

Relax bud. It's only a game and we mess around a lot here. Where did we say we'd ignore YOU at? Actually there was only one person who said most things are ignored in the joke vote stage, as in that the votes and reasons why aren't really things to keep tabs of until they start getting serious.

I am fine with new players btw, I used to be one not too long ago. But when a new player comes in and belittles how we play while bringing up a completely different site's forums.. <.< It just urks me that he compares us to them and expects to not get some heat.

Really this is the only tip I can give you atm. Don't rush into it just yet, this is your first game here, watch people and how they play. If you try to rush into leading the town without paying attention (and face it, you are skimming) to how people play or playing a few games, you'll most likely either be lynched or cause a townie to be lynched. So chill, relax, and don't point fingers seriously until you get the hang of what goes on here. There's a few of us that could rip your posts to shreds and you don't know us enough yet to build a good defense.

Now I know others are being nice, but any more calling people rude or whatever.. I'm gonna be in your face... No one here likes it when I'm in their face whether I'm right or wrong...

Bolded makes the colour a bit thicker, some mods are strict when it comes to rules, so good luck with arguing about it to them.

If I'm being that my serious vote won't be taken seriously largely because I'm new here, then that's not something I find very welcoming at all.

Again you completely missed it. No one is taking anyone's vote seriously right now. It's not just yours.

Someone did take the time to point out to you a serious vote needs to be in color.

Have not seen anyone trying to trick you.

Its a big game 4 joke votes on you is not en masse,DIM is playing his second game and has 3 joke votes on him.

If you want a spotlight on you, your are doing the right thing. S

I'm just saying, bold makes it clear there is a vote. The color might make it easier for the host, but it doesn't change that.

Someone said earlier I would be ignored, and you say you're joking, but it doesn't come off as funny to me. I was harassed brutally on that site, in ways you can't even imagine. Then I come here, and people act this way...

I came here to play. The game has started. Some joking around is fine, but it's wrong to tell me I can't play until a certain time because it's not how you guys like to do things. I had enough waiting when I was waiting for the game to fill and then start, so I'd like to play. I'm not content just sitting back when I know how to play.

I just don't feel like I'll fit in anymore. Having everyone suddenly jump on me just makes me extremely uncomfortable, and saying it's a joke doesn't make it feel any different.

With all due rerspect to you, I say this "Suck it up cupcake."

We all understand you are new and things are different to you here but we really dont care about what happened at some other website. The slate is clean for you here.

You have no idea of how other people play, their personalities or of the social mores here. Whining and self pity will not get you anywhere and personally I find it annoying. Mafia is a game of psycholgy, paranoia and liars poker all rolled into one.

I sincerely welcome you to the CC mafia club and may your stay be a fun one. However you need to develope a thicker skin and understand sometimes its better to just sit back till you know the ropes instead of acting like you do. I am not telling you to not be active but your comments so far show your lack of understanding of how games play here.

I have a feeling this game is going to be a learning experience for you.

End of lecture.

I've never done this before, but maybe I should just replace out... I really want to play, but now I'm being insulted, and I'm just not in a place where I can deal with it. I'm annoyed by the fact that I am getting hate for actually wanting to PLAY. Maybe you can't see it because you're not new, but it's off-putting.

Also, placing your vote in red helps the mod to see it faster as it stands out more than a plain black bold text. This is especially true when you have players writing essays and in the middle vote or unvote someone.

This is true, just ask jak what I did. I almost got lynched in my last game because of doing something very close to what you are doing!

Right now we are waiting and seeing who makes a slip of the tongue so-to-speak. I am refraining from voting for you because you are new. Take it easy and have fun!!

unvote

Oh, in answer to WWGD (What Would Gibbs Do), he would head slap you on the back of the head and tell you Rule 50!

I wanted so badly to stop ranting on you.. But you just keep bringing it...

Bold is hard as hell to find in about 10 paragraphs of post. Believe me, if you were modding this you wouldn't want to read through an entire novel just to see a single vote, no, you would want to be able to pick it up quickly and be able to count it quick. Mods have to do a lot to keep the game running smoothly, so fighting about this isn't going to help you in anyway, shape, or form. It's not going to kill you to take 3 seconds (literally.. if not less when you get used to where red is) to add the tag to your vote.

In ways we can't imagine? Did they tell you the same thing? To take like 3 seconds of your time to make the Mod's job easier? Did they pick your posts apart because you called them all rude? You'll find we all have patience here for everyone, but continued personal insults and self pity will literally put a big bulls eye on your head, maybe not because you are scum, but because people here do not want to put up with constant verbal abuse or be told that their way of playing is no good.

You are playing, if you haven't noticed we're all posting and right now we're ripping you up because you're being a bit ignorant to others. Joke vote stages vary in time but we are not telling you you have to sit on the side lines until it's over, but don't try to drag self pity into it just because you have a few joke votes on you (Now a few of them are real votes).

Fasposted x2, mhmm then I gave Isaiah a chance and he turned out to be a good team mate, he just needed to cool off the first day. There's no need to sub out Yomiel, we love new comers, just don't insult players that have been here and bring self pity into the game.

I assume just bombs to start the game off (ever watch the shows? They always have something to start off the investigations)

I'm not actually a fan of the show so I don't know but can anybody remember an episode that started the same way as this game (on a bridge with an explosion etc...) It could give us an idea what we are up against.

~Sigh~ You don't need to be done here. You just need to forget about the jack a*ses over at mafia scum. We're a good community here and you won't see that happening here (the admins are good to their players :P). If someone sends you a harassing pm, click the report button and there ya go, that person won't be on very long if it's legit.

As for Chuck.. give me 400 hours <.< I'll find it... XD. But yes, I support this, can anyone name the season and episode(s) something like this happened in?

I thought it was coming to this possibly. Dude the internet is anonymous for the most part, username and all that, no one knows you for real. Sticks and stones etc. No one here was being abusive to you, trying to give you advise you didnt want maybe, but abusive not really. S

yomiel, chill. nobody here is trolling/ignoring/insulting you. also, the pace of this game seems a very good one considering many people have jobs/school and we all need to sleep. add to this the fact that we're spread all over the world and you'll get the idea.

now, at first everybody is joke voting but it's actually not a joke per se. it's more like a probing vote. i vote for you, you get mad and vote for me. another player considers you're scummy for getting mad and votes also for you, then you get even madder and soon enough you say something that says you're scum and that's why you were so mad in the first place.

so chill, pay attention to what people are saying and how they're acting and try to have fun.
at least that's what i do.

I voted to welcome him here and it had the opposite effect

I don't think you should ask to be replaced Yomiel. I think the game will get more serious soon. I think you will have fun on here. It just takes a bit of getting used to how it is here. My first game I nearly quit because it seemed slow but I have been playing for a year here now.

If you like more action join a few games. Something will be happening in one at least.

Sign up to a few more mafias, it takes the boredom away when one or two are slow or in Night times.

Also, a RT going on tonight in LC, that should be fast paced.

If I'm right, I think the final episode this season (Season 9) "Til Death Do Us Part" started with an explosion.

Yomiel, this is the way we normally start D1, by joking around and hoping that someone will goof up. So stay and we'll all have fun!! guaranteed!!
