Sherwood Forest Mafia - Game Over, Town Wins!

first, I'd be about 95% inclined to think that Selin is town, mostly because of how a mafia game tends to run. People tend to assume that people that stick out (active posters like wicked, aggressive posters like Ank, whatever) are mafia, and I can't imagine that aimless would've saddled a mafia role with the rhyming thing. I suppose it's possible that Selin is a survivor or a jester (or whatever that role is where you want to get lynched), but I don't buy the scum thing.

And the two methods of nightkill (beaten to death and the mysterious black quarrel) bear looking at. It may not matter, but I would speculate that the shooter of the aforementioned quarrel is Guy of Guisborne, who tends to be something of a sidekick to the Sheriff. (viewers of the costner movie will recall michael wincott's not-too-shabby turn in that role)... I would further speculate that Guy is a Vigilante...

Just a couple of things to work with. I too would like to hear from exile, and I suppose I should buckle down now and read...

A little off topic from my main argument, but in passing this post on page 84, I can't help but to notice Incandenza defending 2 known scum and a third who I personally think is scum and defending no one else...

Well I must say that Selin was next on my list to follow, but seeing that Exile was killed this night (It was pretty predictable), I might not live long enough to reveal his true nature. Which is a shame, since we could probably figure out if the "changing sides after day 3" theory was worth anything.

When I first read that on my read through, I thought maybe either I was wrong about Selin, or Anarkist and Selin were distancing unnecessarily. But the following two posts tell a different story...

sorry not to write this post as a poem, but i realized that i mistakenly overwrote my second post on day 2, replacing the former poem with the post above. In order not to mislead all players who haven't read my former post, I have to explain it. So, below you will find the summary of my second post on day 2:

I quoted Exile's post that votes Aegnor for being scum and wrote a poem stating: Aegnor did claim his role on day 1 and said he is a tracker. And on day 2 he said that he tracked you (exile) and found out that you visited autoload. And then you said that he is right, so you verified him. However knowing Aegnor says the truth, you voted Aegnor, which made you scummy in my eyes.

I also voted The1exile for that in my former post . Here is it again:

I'm not sure about Incandenza, as Dwight and Spiesr look kind of scummy to me. Dwight never said more than 3 words in his posts, while Spiesr never said anything that hasn't been said before him. They both seem like legitimate suspects to me. Of course Dwight was just being a noob and was replaced for that.

I'm not so sure. The people listed are submarining, and it could be that Incandenza just wants them gone or replaced, like most of us townies. Of course, you are right, the fact that AD also echoed the same names as Incandenza doesn't make things look good for him.

So what is your theory AK? My guess would be that it has something to do with me not being online during the weekends. Is that right?

I agree with moz. Mainly for Rule 14 as follows:

14. Each game ‘night’ will not last more than 72 hours. I will remind all those who have night choices when the deadline is near. If at the end of the 72 hours I have not received your night choice, you will have lost your choice action (I.E. for mafia, there would be a ‘no kill’, etc).

Aimless will not hold up the game because some scum didn't get his night choice submitted in time.

This was from page 3 when spinwizard FoSed me for questioning anarkist's Freudian slip too far. I noticed in my entire Day Two reread that everytime spinwizard would come in and put in his worthless, two cent, one line opinion, that not a single person would even acknowledge the content of his post. It's like spinwizard is in this game, but we can't see him. Of course this is attributed to the fact that spinwizard is wrong about 100% of the time he is town. But seeing as how I was pressuring the now known scum anarkist so early and getting him angry, spin was the one to FoS me. As stated before, that FoS was completely ignored because it came from spinwizard.

No Mandy, you said your WC didn't match Aeg's. All I'll ask is nobles compare theirs to Aeg's stated one, which Mandy didn't agree with.

And, I specified that Aegnor's imaginery one (standard for Vanilla Townies world wide, though it may be) states that he has to eliminate "threats", while I and (every other Noble, I dare add) knows that there is only one threat to this Kingdom: Locksley and his Hoods!

The sad thing here is that many of the "players" will skim, mumble "Same all, same all." importantly to their beard (if they have one) and then either say nothing or WHINE about the longness of the Day. Rare are thos who will simply connect your posts in your posts in the last few pages with tonka's allegations about your Scumy Tactics and realize that if I was telling the truth about you there is no reason that I am not telling it about Aegnor.

What say you about the quoted post above Aegnor? At the time that post was made, everyone was so sick of Mandy that I think it got passed over. Why did you say threats instead of threat? Pretty convincing now that we know Mandy wasn't a Merry Man if you ask me...

Recap: My main target today for a Lynch is AK. Mainly because he and Anarkist both vehemently urged the rest of us to disregard Mandy's theories. His theories of course being that AK, wicked and Aegnor are scum. He was right about wicked...

Don't totally rely on my work. Even I'm not totally convinced that I am right. I have a feeling that all that I posted will be forgotten about by the time the Archery Tourney is winding down anyways. I await the reply of those who I questioned.
