Day Five

As the fire in the sky burns hotter and brighter the remaining residents of poor Finn Rock rise from their makeshift beds. Mach stretches to his feet and bends over touching his toes. Yawning into the cool air his breath amasses in a ball of cloud and gently sails into above. Bogusbet twists and contorts his body while rubbing his hungry stomach. He rifles through a few of his belongings and finds a half eaten chocolate bar. He breaks off one corner and pops it into his mouth, letting the stiff chocolate slowly warm and dissolve between his tongue and gums. Houssam ties quick knots with his shoe laces as Xenhu dawns a sweatshirt. Houssam and Xenhu jog off into the distance together pleasantly chatting with one another. Moz and Freetymes both stroll into a side street and pass a parked car. As they both pass it, Moz get’s an idea. He walks over to the door, slips in, and thrusts his hands beneath the steering column. Freetymes wanders around to the passenger side and looks on as Moz works. For a few minutes a lot of nothing happens. As Freetymes gets ready to abandon the cause, a loud roar lurches from beneath the metal belly of the beast. Moz honks the horn a number of times and both slam the ear-doors of the beast shut. As Moz shifts it into gear the engine starts to clank and sputter. After seven feet of motion the beast gargles and suffocates. It rolls to a stop against a lamp post. Freetymes and Moz look at one another and just laugh as they get out and head off into the distance. Mach and Bogusbet begin to search the town to find the others. Bogusbet juts his head into a broken window of a ground level building but nothing of interest resides inside. Mach follows close behind, kicking a can and not really looking for anything in particular. Bogusbet turns around and shouts at Mach to get to work. As the sound reaches his drum he miss-kicks the can and it fumbles into a drainage line. Xenhu shows Houssam his great find from the day before. Both of them step into the movie rental store and Xenhu pops in another video and climbs over the counter back to his resting chair. Houssam searches in the back and finds a few old cardboard boxes and rolls of bubble-wrap. After a few minutes of working he makes a comfortable bed and lies down to watch the feature. As Freetymes and Moz are heading back toward the Town Center, Freetymes immediately gets giddy when he sees a bicycle. He tells Moz about the events that unfolded the day before, and how pissed he was that Master Bush’s arm interfered with his wheelie popping. Freetymes hops back on the bruised and nearly mangled bicycle. As he pulls back on the handlebars and lifts the front end into the air, he begins to hop down the alley—away from Moz. Moz, seeing a perfect opportunity picks up a few rocks and begins to chuck them in Freetymes’ direction. After the first three rocks miss the target the fourth and final smacks Freetymes in the back of the noggin. This sends Freetymes off balance and he plummets face first into another pile of familiar trash. Moz falls to the ground laughing and doesn’t even realize he’s rolling in a pile of medical waste. After a moment of uncontrollable spasms of laughter, Moz gets pricked by a needle and screams loudly. Freetymes manages to hop from his bed of trash and rushes toward Moz, with a piece of wood behind his back. Moz begins to cry a little and Freetymes puts his arm around him to comfort him. As Moz places his head on Freetymes shoulders, Freetymes pushes him away and smacks the small of his back with a two-by-four. Freetymes bursts into laughter as Moz falls back onto the pile of medical waste. But after a minute, Freetymes’ laughter stops. As Moz rolls over on his back and looks to his left he sees a head grinning wickedly at him. Both of them jump into air and clear out of the immediate distance. After the calm has restored, Freetymes peddles his bike with Moz riding on the handlebars. Behind them they drag the body back to the Town Center.

On the dying and dull brown grass rests Wicked, Andre Taylor (Healthy), chopped, chewed, and chomped to death.

Broadcast Towers Event Unlocked during the Night. Unfortunately due to the loss the power, each 'Lynch Day' is shortened to THREE 24 hour days.

Now lets get the day going!

Well I guess wicked did forsee this one. I'll have to go back and see who she was fingering to see if there is anything that can help us.

Did the BT unlock change anything other than the time of the day?

Sigh...

Well this makes things harder for us to win but easier to figure out who the remaining mafia are.

Lets listen to wickeds last words and be a bit shy about posting a vote till some things are answered. Houssam perhaps you should do a bit better than celibrating the death of a towny???

I totally see what you are saying.. and agree to it.. it's just that she was actually driving me nuts - I was sure (wrongly obviously) she was mafia - and I felt she just did whatever the hell she wanted and seemed to get away with it.. at least now, I won't keep talking Vote Wicked like a maniac.

As for now, I am not sure. Given Moz scarcity throughout the game, and then his appearance suddenly now innocently suggesting we should see who wicked was pointing to (yours truly) makes me suspect him. But obviously, I am the last one to point fingers right now - at least today.

In the last couple od days you have FOS'ed virtually every player alive except perhaps RK yet the only person you have ever really tried to make a case against was Wicked and she was a townie (sorry I called you a career mafia Wicked...)

Did I not say I was wrong? yeah.. I was pretty sure of wicked - it's just that I could not buy her all innocent attitude. So not her.. and I was wrong. Voting trestain was out of sheer frustration. I felt we were all being manipulated, and I hated that. Now that she turned out clean, obviously I am no longer "sure" about anything else. I just hope we still stand a chance. As I said, I am done FOS'ing anyone until I understand a little more.
