A) what does the roll of a "priest" entail
and
B) what does the roll of an "actor" entail?

The Actor is only able to vote as a "hammer."
Hammer=deciding vote (ie with 10 alive, the 5th vote in a bandwagon)
The Priest is unable to vote as a "hammer".

And how did you get the roles confused if you first said you can only make the last vote and then said you can't hammer? That doesn't sound like Gimpy's mistake but like yours.

it was my mistake, but as NAg pointed out I voted when I shouldn't of. gimpy never told me that are warned me.

Is it too much to ask that you look up your own role? and before someone asks i'm neither confirming or denying anything regardring pikachu just making a blanket statement. sorry, I'm a bit touchy on this after Bad Poets. Stupid Aimless didn't send me a warning about breaking my verse and the town thought that he would have. Since I claimed the opposite me died.

I am also a little reluctant to unvote Fir as well. Firstly, as has been said before "wait, I'm doing something/forgot my role" sounds like "wait, give me some time to come up with a good fake claim and look up names from the show on Wikipedia,"

one problem, anyone with a knowlegde of timezones would know that it would have been around 11 in Cali. That was right around my school time. Now would I have had the time to look up Wiki for a role? No. In fact I was switching off Comp work and CC so it would take me a while to get to the savebox and remember my role. Which is why I said to wait. Then the net got faster, and I remembered about C/Ping.

Unless you are a mason with him, there is no way of "knowing" that he is in fact an actor. It is a very obscure role and Fircoal could've used his knowledge of mafia to pick one role that he would be about 99.9999% sure that would not be countered as I have never seen it used in a game personally.

i too will FOS clive. u can have no idea what chu is unless u are a mason. chu knows the game of mafia a lil too well, he knows what roles to fake claim if he must. i have never seen actor in a game ive played. and ive only ever scene priest once.

Well, I can't have known what you were doing at school. And besides, breaks are ample time to do whatever needs to be done, so how reliable is your proof?

That said, I have already admitted a few posts back that I didn't know what to make of the situation, as I know being kind of forgetful isn't outside of your normal behavior.

YOU may, but I don't. The last time I fake claimed, I just had Frenchie-chan get me stuff. If I needed to fake claim, I would be browsing wiki for a long time looking for the right one. Also may I mention for me fake claiming, if I wasn't at school that still would of been a short time for me. If I was looking, it would of taken a long time filled with distractions. I might even take me longer then a day.

Well I find it very odd that Fircoal would screw up like that. However, he is a rather odd kid who does go to school in California, and has an unhealthy obsession with Pikachu... all of which adds up to a screwy kid capable of screwing up even if he shouldn't.

However, I also agree with the reasoning that it's no excuse, 'Chu should think it through better. And Clive, I'm not sure you KNOW there's an actor simply because you're Priest.

I'm leaning towards a vote on Freddy too. Though I'm not thoroughly convinced, and some of the guys are a bit too eager.

Fir, you know this game better than everyone else, you being confused about a role seems pretty silly knowing your experience. Also, Clive, protecting him right after we pointed out a major flaw with his roleclaim seems rather stupid, unless we were onto something and you fired a desperate attempt to save him.

Actor is an unimportant town role. If no-one counter's he's telling the truth.

I agree. I'm not sure whether this is enough of a scumtell to justify a vote, but you (Fircoal) are contradicting yourself.

I am, in spite of everything, inclined to believe Fircoal is telling the truth and his mistake doesn't mean much, but just because he's claiming an unimportant role doesn't mean he's telling the truth if not countered. An unimportant, rarely used role would make a pretty good fake claim.

Putting all your energy to protect Fir this early is suspicious because you have no concrete evidence that he is an actor, or if there even is an actor.

Why did you attempt to protect yourself when you knew you didn't have much time? Most smart people here would have given you time to defend yourself. I think you just became really really fearful that you would die with your mafia role, so you tried to quickly come up with something.
