Hrm....flores, I really don't like the whole "martyr" card that you are playing right now. It doesn't sit well with me.

ok i swear i'll be done after this. a) this game is about finding subtle flaws and mistakes, and about drawing conclusions from that. in all the games i have played i've seen people lynched on day 1 for way less than why i believed flores to be scum, way less. If i think someone is scum i'm going to dog them until i'm satisfied either way, that's just the way it is and i know many others play w/ that same philosophy. you say i was back-tracking, changing tone, simple reason why - GT cleared her, case closed, i'm gonna move on. as i said before i bear no ill will, did not intend to insult and am trying to bury the hatchet. hence the reason i didn't start throwing out insults at people and tried to keep things as civil as possible. so consider this an apology b/c it seems needed. b) last i checked knickers was a unisex term.

Can we turn this soap opera back into mafia please?

You guys can keep calling people sheeps and saying the flores case had no substance (well, when you only look at those three reasons then that rings out true) but there were other reasons people voted flores which you seem to be ignoring. However, despite flores' attitude I do not think she is worth a lynch. I highly doubt any scum would claim mason to save a partner (Unless fairly nooby, which G_T isn't) and thinking about the possibility of a 1 scum/1 mason group I could not think of any group in the show that could fit that scenario. Thus I must conclude flores is townie and there are no reasons good enough for those still voting her to be voting her.
Now then
Cena - Start giving reasons and stop following
Mandy - Stop acting scummy
Nag - Make me some waffles

And 'knickers in a knot' can apply to anyone, there is nothing sexist about it.

Yeah, I get your point, but this whole explosion just doesn't sit well with me. It seems like a rant that a mafia player would do to appear like a townie with nothing to lose. As I said before, this "martyr" attitude is like an ultimatum. You're risking getting lynched by saying, I don't care if you lynch me, I'm just a mason anyway, so do whatever you want idiot town. It's hard to explain.

3) It. is. a. game.

You got some fucking nerve. Who the f*ck mixed RL and a game here to start with, dumbass?
I intervened not because my girlfriend was getting lynched, but because to my astonishment a freaking obvious townie was. And for the record in the signups discussion I was giving my fucking opinion, moron.

You have no case, no slipup, and yet you stayed all high and mighty until your total backtracking in both attitude and play in your last post. I'm not sure I can scratch the possibility of you being a retarded townie to think ou can only be scum, however.

Sorry SL I guess I'll take a warning but I find unfair that Gimpy didn't get one for this personal attack. It's simply the first time in a year and a half of mafia playing here that I've been insulted and offended like this.

Back to game...

daydream wrote:the first thing i could think after reading it was wait... you accused at least 3 different people of being scum plus one of being a lyncher. how can that ever hold water?

Do you think there's only one scum in the game? Recently in another game I accused 3 people of being potential cult leader. Turns out one was, and the 2 others his cult buddies. So there :P

Let's adress for the last time the logic, or lackthereof, behind Flores' case.
OMG Ace claimed a main character! He must be SCUM!
OMG Flores defends Ace saying she's a main character too! She must be SCUM!
OMG GT confirm Flores' mason claim! He must be SCUM!

Can anyone not Mandy care to tell me how this chain of naive reasoning is not retarded? No? Right.

mandalorian2298 wrote: I already said that in a game with safe claims you can't conclude that someone is pro-Town based on a claim. In fact, maybe real Toph simply decided not to counter-claim because he doesn't want to reveal himself to the Mobsters.

I find this part of Mandy's unholdable position interesting and confirms my opinion of him as a likely lyncher. It sounds like he will counterclaim Toph if pressured, but forgot a little detail: if Sierra provides fakeclaims, do you think he would give one that can be countered?

I agree with GT that Flores would be better replaced if she doesn't want to keep playing than voted off; we have now 3 pretty much cleared townies, and I'd hate to think this was not to catch at least a scum.

I'm more or less satisfied with Daydream's answer to his actions, and feel it could go either way so might not be worth pursuing. I feel the most confident with Mandy's lead all in all.
Unvote Vote Mandy

1. I am not Topher.

2. I believe that I promised, back in the olden days, that I would never us Lynching game if I was a Lyncher or a Jester, and I don't plan to brake that promise.

3. Why are you suggesting lynching a Lyncher? That's about the same waste for the Town as is lynching a Lynchee.

I'm going to have to disagree with that. A lyncher will always want to get a townie lynched, and they'll lie, cheat, and misinform as much as they can to do it. That is bad.

I can't see how someone who might claim COP to get a TOWNIE lynched is the same as a townie.

Seriously, I have never and will never use the phrase "if he turns out to be town then lynch me tomorrow" if I am either lyncher or a Jester, because that would be a cheap way to win. I used it plenty of times when I have been Scum, though.

after re-reading all this I was struck by something one of you said (tried to find the quote, couldn't, sorry) about watching those that jumped off of the flores wagon once they were pressured just a little. which cena did as soon as someone asked him to clarify his actions for the vote. so even though he said:

cena-rules wrote:Im away this weekend guys. dont lynch me when Im not here please

i'm gonna vote him b/c that's the only thing that stuck out to me. I will say that we shouldn't actually vote him off while he's gone b/c that is lame and it happened to me 1 time, leave for the weekend and come back lynched. but some pressure would be good. I also noticed the thezzaruzz (1real vote) and MM(no real vote) really haven't added anything to the discussion. i'd like to hear more from them.

In short I can say that I didn't really believe the Flores "evidence" and hence stayed away from that bandwagon. Other than that I have mostly listened read of posted as, atm, I haven't got that much to add.

Somehow I feel you've missed the point. If he's going away, what is the point of putting pressure on him?
And I haven't contributed anything because trying to sift through this filth is about as easy as swimming in mud.
Although I suppose I could be more "comic relief", which will really annoy ga7 I'll wager.

I got 2 hours before I go so let me explain

I voted flores cause everyone was talking about adding pressure and it seemed like a good idea at the time. Whilst I slept tonka posted this

got tonkaed wrote:hey there, allow me to say it would be no good to vote flores.

Daydream as ga7 has suggested has been doing quite a large amount of vote hopping, unnecessarily so. Also i dont think i really believe mandos out on a limb case here, but i do know that ace and flores arent scum buddies. Ill consider voting daydream if more evidence starts to go that way.

The bandwagon on flores as usual is full of day 1 sillyness.

Way too much confusion going on all over the place. 3 cleared townies on the first day? Seems highly unlikely, but still possible. Still, I don't know where to turn.

This has to be the most productive Day 1 I have ever seen...
