I think any big game is going to favor the scum b/c things get lost/forgotten so easily. Sure there's a LOT of information out there, but there's also a lot of replacements and nobody wants to go back through 100+ pages to look for scum tells.

Well, it's true a game like that is harder for town, but considering by day 4 there was only Selin Tal and me left that was still a hard-earned comeback We got unlucky with Ex & Freezie dying because of the fake claims, but all in all this was a cool scum group. Selin pulled us together a lot (being the true godfather as I realized later my role could have been named Selin's bitch ), and IMO Tal deserves the victory too. Mandy warned us about not claiming amongst scum also, ironically enough we did it anyway at the end and the night after we had a warning that one of us had turned to a weird cult leader, that really saved my ass as I just had to check the background and kill Tal then He should have had a choice there But in any case great job Mandy on all the twists and setting flavor, it was fun =)

This was a fun game, and the Vong did amazingly well. I'm sorry gimpy for getting you killed , but I figured since this was one of the longest times you'd lasted in a big game, that if I recruited you no one would suspect you. Oh well, next time...The sad thing about all this was I felt safe and was doing well in the game. That was until I saw the post in the "Vong discussion board" that said one of the Vong turned cult. I didn't even realize it was me until I logged on back here to see Mandy's pm . Oh well, great game anyway. Thanks all!

I dunno how many times I told wicked to make sure she knew who her friends were... My vote on ga at the end was because he was scum, woman. But I'm the scummy one for the voting scum and putting him at lynch -1. Granted I woulda NK'ed you tonight, but I was your friend for the day...

Skill on my part lol. I think my only mistake was revealing too much information, I was hoping the doc had picked up on it but turns out I just gave too much information on my persona to the scum otherwise I could have helped more. I was annoyed people didn't pick on kwanton though cos if they read my day one posts they might have lynched him.

no nag, the problem I think you made was that you said it when you were drunk. If you said it when sober, I might of believed you. I just thought it was the liquor talking.

Alcohol doesn't affect my train of thought in mafia, it just makes things clearer and I use it to make people think I've slipped up while drunk when the jester (host mafia, which failed evidently) and sneaky roleclaims to go back on later if necessary (tonka's game when I was an alcoholic). I also said I stood by everything I said in the morning so there was no reason not to believe me . Don't bring up cairns coral coast though .

I really should have and I debated it but I didn't think you guys (you specifically) would have believed me. And by the time I put some thought into it, it was to late.

You did do an excellent job of finding scum though, unfortunately I wasn't the scum that needed to die first.

That is surprising. I think after awhile most players kinda developed a loyalty to their faction though. Even after I became SK I still tried to help out the town whenever I could.

It was a memorable game and I think that in a game like this (an epic game?) people are unwilling to make large changes unless they don't like their beginning role.

mandy ~ now that its over can you please explain to me how i became a member of the cult? Was i recruited and killed all at the same time? I've never been cult before so i don't know how it works. my poor brain it gets so confused you see fun game for sure. please let me in on the next one from the get go

You were recruited by Talapus. However, to balance the fact that you and all of his other Cult-minions would know the identity of all the remaining Vong, Talapus hat to survive 'till the end for the Cult to win. Ga7 (who had a possibility to kill Vongs) killed Talapus and that was that.
Here are my thoughts on what I SHOULD have done to give Talapus a better chance to survive:
1. Make Selin a Mafia Usurper. As it were, his power to change Ga7's choices was compleatly useless.
2. Give Talapus a choice between starting a Cult and staying loyal to Shimrra (Ga7).

I tried to balance this by making Vongs fight between themselves.
Also, I put links to each scene in the first post to allow you guys to navigate through the posts more easely (I think that should become a common practice in big games).
