I'd guess the same. Whoever our doc/roleblocker are, keep up the good work! :D

I looked back at what Spurg had posted before, but there aren't any real clues there. At one point, when the bandwagon on NES was growing, he posted
spurgistan wrote:Oh come on, what has NES done to deserve a bandwagon this game? Kinda feel bad for the kid. Well, almost.
His only other posts were a random vote on jnd94 and a bandwagon vote on MTG. On the whole, this tells us... nothing. :(

Spurgistan dying implies newbie mafia or newbie SK to me.

I'm thinking the same. Spurg is a good player, but to kill him in this game seems way too random. Noob mafia? Vote NES!

Why does a seemingly random kill that reveals nothing suggest noobiness? I think the mafia did fairly well. One power role out of the way and we have no clue.

Of course, personally, I would have killed Spurgistan for joining the Union, and to Hell with metagaming :)

I don't have many ideas, but I'm going to

Vote Cena rules for his response to yesterday's lynching. In my experience, scum is often more vocal in their fake disappointment when townies are lynched. Not all that much to go on, but if anybody has a better idea, I'm all ears.

That's a bit of a stretch, but I can see where you're coming from.

I think it's the exact opposite.

The mafia/SK knew that by killing Spurg, we'd have gained nothing.

Smart move.

Maybe spurg used one of his other powers to prevent the other kill, if there is one.

Hmm... Could be.

Does a player's night move still take place if they get killed?

Yes there night action still counts if they die. With cops they don't get the result of their investigations, but with all other roles such as docs, roleblockers, vigs etc there night actions act as normal.

I think there is a thin link with Nes. Of course it could be Cena (or incrediball) or no noob at all. But in my opinion a night 1 kill to confuse us is bollocks, mafia wants the big guys out to raise their chance of getting unnoticed. It's a strategy that might work in the latter stages maybe, not on night 1. I gotta reread anyway to not base my vote just on gut feeling =)

You talk asif it's one person, but mafia can usually discuss who they kill at night, can't they? Or could it be different this game?

At least someone cares about me.
I warn all of you who voted me to be lynched, that I may have a treat for you if you do not lynch me.
Making me nervous by putting me in the lead on votes.

Just after several people warned about a bandwagon on an inactive:

Ok... maybe I was wrong with the roleclaim zit theory, but We must make him post Some way.
I had to forget the other reason I voted eddie. Lynching inactive is better than NO lynch at all. My vote STAYS.

The reason this vote is done is to learn his role, and if we smack him and his role is for mafia, then that is going to be a bonus.

Now, I realize this is Nes. Deemed worst player in mafia history by Mandy. But I'm getting the feeling this is too scummy even for him. Plus I can picture him killing one of his few defenders to make him look good
That said, it's not much of a case but I didn't really see something else scummy so, better put this one out there. I'll change my vote if something better pops up =)

Let us say that One time when I was bodyguard (Elite mind yourselves), I ACTUALLY helped win the game for the town with a 2-0 victory.
Not a roleclaim, but not lynchin' me will guarantee you live to tomorrow.

1- It was a RT and scum would have won if they didn't miss an action if I remember well
2- Mind answering the arguments instead of putting it all on noobiness?

You were trying to roleblock the elite guard? (Which was me by the way)
One goof up that was, but I am almost certain you won't goof up again like that.
