Why would a roleblocker block iron after I cleared him?

Is it possible there is another real doc out there than saved the obvious target of DY? And Safari really is an insanity or delusional doc?

When there is no-one to look at, I usually go after whomever has been inactive/scummarizing the most... but I guess everyone was here since no-one had something to go on lol

Doom asked a question, I answered. My criteria was looking at vets as block targets. Newbs will slip up if they are Jack. Vets will play it better. That's all.

Well I agree with your reasoning. It may not be helpful to play WIFOM-WIFOM guessy pants... but it's all we have for now. So go through the names and think. The problem I am having is the whole factional thing. We can't rule out a third-party Jack. Which means there may still be a "typical" mafia. Which means it may have been a mafia roleblocker blocking Jack and some other mechanism for town. To simplify the possibilities in my head, I am discounting that opinion. The simplest solution is that Jack targeted whoever saf tried to save, not because he tried to save him, but because an SK will try to go for a less obvious kill to avoid crosskills. In this assumptory universe a town roleblocker blocked a mafia kill. Since there have been no outings and I am the only one voting today (unvote, btw) I am thinking town roleblock is unlikely. Forgotten action may be the next course of action.

However, @ the hypothetical town roleblocker of dubious existence: you can play NK nights like a cop and subtley vote for whoever you blocked. However, in this vote thrifty town, such a move would probably have ousted you, so I don't blame you for laying low.

virus: what happened to your strike case?

vote nag

for being lazy and trying to trade a town PR for a minimal chance clue.

Well the roleblock part can be answered now. Neb's logic makes sense, vets would be pretty viable and slightly more likely targets I suppose. I would guess that Jack would be alone, but for there to be no NK's last night, I double we got that lucky. I see it as theres Jack who probably can kill each night, but also might attack on alternate nights, and then after tonight we will see if there is more than 1 kill to speculate on a mafia faction. In a setup like this, we either have alot of sanity issued cops (which if there are any other cops in the game, they have probably already gotten that vibe) or there will be a mafia faction with sure fire cops, maybe a screwy one, and then the rest of town. I say this because a 15 player game with only 1 scum would be way too lopsided IMO unless he has godlike powers.

@hypothetical message- I have to agree. The rb would have had to have a reason, otherwise it was just as likely that voting someone without reason would draw attention. Even if you were able to convey it somehow, I feel like it would just give you away to some people who picked up on it.

I cant vote nag because I agreed that his plan might be the best one, so thats all for now.

It's possible that we have anti-town factions without killing roles like Moriarty. Some sort of enabler faction?

Also, some of the town factions may have alternate win conditions. Something tells me the Vigilante Committee would love to put a bullet between my eyes in order to win.

I'm not sure how to proceed to be honest, Safari was my one strong read in this game and we've seen how this has turned out. I don't know if I trust Hotshot or not as he's given me some town vibes and some scum vibes, the rest either have come forward with a believable claim (did we ever test Benga's double vote? I don't think we did.) or I haven't seen anything from them that says much. Ga7 and Flores need to be at least prodded if not out right replaced.

They have been prodded... Looks like they need to be replaced. I will work on that later today.

As it stands, it now takes ONE LESS VOTE TO LYNCH. Sorry, on my phone right now. Will do it up proper in a few hours...

Benga said his double vote won't work on day 1 or 2, if I remember correctly. So it can't be tested yet unfortunately. Not like anyone knows who to vote on anyway lol.

Dr. Watson would most certainly be a real Doc. I can not imagine him as anything else. Could I be wrong? Most certainly. I do not believe I have ever played in a game with two docs though I have been in games with back up docs.

There is a variety of reasons we have no night kills, that have not been mentioned such as Bullet proof roles and a bus driver.

Here is a theory I have as well. there was no Ripper death but there was a note. There is a little portion of the note that says "My head is full and my eyes can see oh so far...oh so far." It could be possible Jack has night actions besides killing but he can not do both. I find it to much of a coincidence that Nebs name is involved. Jack seems to be leading us directly to Neb because he received information about him with an action. It could also be a Red Herring.

If it is not a red herring the question then arises as to why he gave us his riddle. He writes, "...for justice to prevail". Who would justice prevail for? He certainly would not be helping Town. That leaves us back to square one though. No deaths. It could be Jack did not kill on purpose because he used an night action, As safari stated earlier the Vigilante group also held their fire.

Agreed. The BBC series makes his skills as a doctor more prominent than the stories do, IIRC, but nevertheless he is a real doctor and it makes total sense, assuming that Watson/Holmes are 'town'.

Hey, Mr. Sneaky McSneakers, sneaking back into this game! Okay, so you replace ga7.

I hate to do this to you, but I can't ignore the fact that there was no kill, and ga7 had to be replaced. There is the remote chance the kill was never sent in...and I have nothing else to go on.

The rest of us have something to go on -- the fact that you showed up in the note. Would it be the worst thing to lynch Neb, just so we can find out whether we can 'trust' the notes from Jack (if they are in fact from Jack?)

I think the fact that your first reaction is to point to the note is quite the telling sign. 1. We have NO idea who the note is from. 2. We have NO idea what the note means. 3. Even IF the note is from Jack, why would you trust Jack?

Silly.

Although this isn't a vote, it sounds pretty close to an OMGUS by recommending lynching the guy who just voted you... and if you think he should be lynched why didn't you vote him, other than it would have been an obvious OMGUS vote? I hate to do it after you just joined, but neb's suggestion combined with your OMGUS-like post will cause me to vote metsfanmax

I obviously didn't say that we shouldn't try to force a claim. I just said that even the worst case scenario where we don't do that (or you don't claim) is not that bad, because we still get information. You admit that we have no idea who the note is from or what it means, so we should be actively trying to figure that out.

...if it was an OMGUS vote, then wouldn't I have voted? Your own statement defeats your argument. If what I wanted right now was for Neb to be lynched, I would have voted for him. I don't want that right now. I simply rebutted his implication that there are zero active leads. And there's a huge difference between OMGUS, and the fact that no one is still talking about the elephant in the room (the note about Neb/Flores).

I was correct, of course. The previous times that the minimum had been dropped, it had only happened when Nark actually came back and posted as such. So I was at L-3 at the time.

Ok well lets have a look, X-stor-x would love this :p (for the ones in BB maffia)

1) Nebuchadnezer, got mentioned in the message, i dont know what it means but dont want to vote on that now
2) HotShot53, got a pro town feeling about him
3) strike wolf got reason to believe he is pro-town to DY
4) virus90 do not even doubt his townliness
5) new guy1 pro town feeling
6) benga protown feeling about him aswell, claimed double vote, which can be proven next day if im not mistaken
7) Iron Butterfly Cleared by doom Yoshi
8 ) FloresDelMal where is she basicly....?
9) kratos644 pro Town 2
11) DoomYoshi suppose he is day cop
12) safariguy5 claimed doc, possibly with sanity issues
13) ga7 replaced by Metsfanmax, dont know yet but kind of want to give him time since mets just (re)joined.
14) gregwolf121 always have a hard time with him, he is not really talkative and has a lot of 1 - 2 line posts, not giving much information, but having played some games with him i suppose it is his playstyle, but i wont clear him for town just yet.
15) nagerous talkative but without much content in my opinion

so my leads are: Nagerous, Flores and Gregwolf for now.
Will not yet decide on a vote since this post gives room for much discussion which i want to use in my advantage
