Whats the point in joining a mafia game and then not posting in it for an entire week. After my games finish I am going to stop playing, its not fun with so many inactives.

I think you're blowing it out of proportion, sure I have been quite inactive, but 16 of the 19 players have posted in the last 48 hours. I think that is a pretty reasonable amount for a mafia game. You can't expect constant activity from everyone. As for the current case which is on shield, I agree with others - I'd like to hear his claim.

I believe the cop (should there be one) is going to investigate me or pmc. Tracker should consider watching us, and so should watcher. For now, I await SG7's claim, and when I am not so busy will try to re-defend myself against PMC which I failed to effectively do yesterday on my meds .

Now, let's begin some analysis on shield's claim. His statement that he got a role that wasn't very high priority for him is consistent with his earlier remarks. One possible thing that we need to talk about relating to it. Do we want shield to post his role rankings that we he sent to the mod? It could possibly be of some help looking trying to spot any fake-claims later on. On the other hand, it also could make it easier for the scum to know which role they could fake-claim and helps them determine which player may have which role. (If he is town.)
One question for you Shield. Do your commuter powers protect you from investigations and whatnot and the night they are used, or only from kill attempts?

Yeah sg7 has a very privileged position in that he knows all of the roles in the game. I think if we decide that shield is mafia we should get him to out the list, but only if we are sure.

I really expected sg7 to claim 1-shot gov and that is why he was so relaxed about the case on him. Now it just doesn't make sense, sg7 why are you so laid back, it seems like you are unwilling to help the town. If you are a townie, you have to start making a defence for yourself. In my experience mafia give up more easily as they know deep down that they are guilty.

If we lynch him and he doesn't tell us we'll never get his role rankings. I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing.

That depends, he only know all the roles in the game if Commuter was his 15th choice. (If that is the case then we know that the scum didn't take any scum only roles. So he could tell us which roles were not taken. Scum wouldn't need to fake-claim in such a situation though.) If Commuter was any higher on list then he doesn't know every role that was assigned, just however many were above it.

I also don't understand the laid back nature when the role you have is town commuter. That doesn't sounds like a safe sort of place to be. I apologize for not being as active...this has been a crazy weekend but I am back now (even missed a couple of turns which is unheard of for me). With hangovers abating...what clearness of mind I have gathered up here tonight leads me to be suspicious.
In regards to revealing his list...I think it's a fine idea...but ultimately not all that helpful if town commuter was 11th or better. Even at 13th on his list though...it would be helpful. It means that there are 6 pretty undesirable roles left out there...six which would be highly suspicious if mafia claimed one of...because there would be a 2/3 chance that they were fake claiming. That's a lot better odds for a lynch than you have picking out random targets...so it stands to reason in my mind that the list would be of critical use to the town...iff commuter 11th or better. (I picked 11th because that is the 50/50 cut off point...some info could be gained even if it were higher.
Just eyeballing sg7's attitude toward the lynch and excitement about his role...i'm willing to wager that town commuter was pretty far down the list...so I think ultimately pressuring him for the list would be helpful.

I would like to hear from sg7 before voting...but I think this case has been well made.

And why am I so relaxed? Is it because I'm scum and I know it and I know I'm guilty anyway? No. I just don't care if I get lynched because I'm stuck with a crap role. That doesn't mean I'm not interested in this game. As you can see, I have put some time and effort in trying to figure things out, so I'm not trying to deadbeat, I just have a crap role. So go ahead and lynch me if you want, my role's not too very important, and you'll gain info from my lynch wagon.

that's not the issue. I said I copy-pasted when I was sending the PM; the list I posted WAS the list I got from my sentbox.

Well, if this is true then that means mason is a role in this game. I wonder how the assigning of that went. IE what happens if only one person would have be set to get a mason role? Anyway, according to shield the roles not in this game would be two of: Governor, Loved Person, and Bulletproof.
