You would be correct in that assumption. The others were running off after Tal when I steered them to Lawlrus.

drake was saying he was the driver on the first bandwagon on ckyrias.

As drake already pointed out, there have been multiple people on both wagons and it's all for the same reason, to get people active or get rid of them. I'm not going to re-hash that.

Also, you mentioned Tails and Haggis missing. I'm not one who can talk a lot about people's tendencies, but I've played a couple time with both of them and they usually lay low. BW them and they'll show up. Otherwise, they observe. That's been my feel of those two.

I would actually disagree about Haggis. In all the games I've played with Haggis, his style is always aggressive. He contributes a lot, always presents cases, and defends himself vigorously. It is unlike him to be this quiet, unless he is away or extremely busy atm. Tails' activity is also pretty good, so he must also be busy.

And yes, I was just a harmless recruiter in Post-Apocalypse. I couldn't kill or harm anyone in any way. I was just a little bit insane, that's all. But perfectly harmless.

The mod has done one or two vote counts since my last post. And inactives and replacements has been a popular subject in the last five pages of the thread. In fact, maybe in the last 10 pages of the thread. So, you would think that the mods would have mentioned something about replacements, or prods. I know they have been reading- pancake did a vote count last night. But since there was no mention of it, I'm going to assume that they are not planning on replacing or modkilling anybody just yet. Maybe they overlooked yoshi's post.

So in that case, I will Vote Lawlrus

And in case someone missed it, Talapus is on a business trip right now. He should have returned days ago, and I don't know what happened. But that's why he hasn't posted in awhile.

Vote ckyrias

I'd rather jump on this than the Lawlrus bandwagon, because (unless I missed something) Lawlrus's case is more ambiguous than ckyrias's. Obvious submarining, on the other hand, is obvious.

Everything went better than expected, needless to say.

Lawlrus is the same thing as ckyrias, submarining. Difference being that lawlrus hasn't reacted to pressure while ckyrias has.

That's a pretty big difference though... points Lawlrus more at inactivity, period, than submarining.

Well there's a case to be made for both of them. I'm assuming we don't get a replacement for lawlrus. That means that we cannot expect to get a claim out of him anyways. With the activity that ckyrias has shown, we do know that we can get claim information out of him. So we know ckyrias has the potential to be helpful in getting lynches later and give us claim information, while lawlrus is dead weight that will not give us information about anything either now or later.

I can understand this, but the other thing to consider here is that ckyrias is very obviously lurking, whereas lawlrus isn't. Going back to what I was saying before, it seems that the main reason for targeting inactives early on in the game is because there are no better targets because it's too early in the game to see which players are acting scummy. If, however, we have a scummy player already, why waste time on someone who will potentially get modkilled/replaced anyways, and focus on someone who we can grill?

IMO if I were the mod if replacements had run out I would just modkill anyone who hadn't posted in 2 weeks. Some mods don't like to kill, so we hang inactives.

You really wanted a claim from that pitiful case? FOS to Sully.

Indeed. FOS to Strike Wolf, too.

I can see the reasoning behind the inactive lynch. This day has lasted long enough, any longer will just drag it out. However, I've been inactive as well, so I don't really feel comfortable just hopping in here and clamoring for the lynch of an inactive. Therefore, in lieu of that, I'll vote the person I've had the most suspicions about.

Vote Victor for information fishing. By this I mean he tried to get a roleclaim from a newb who was on the chopping block. That's fairly scummy in my book.

I also have it on good authority that VS is a CIA operative, a double agent intent on razing the people's movement by infiltrating the institutions by which we forge our own equality. Either that or he's Dr. Zhivago, a treacherous swine whose selfish actions proliferate the bourgeois' stranglehold, and ideological fool whose beliefs are untenable.

While I agree with Tails assessment of Sully, I think it's a little scummy that he agrees with my inactive lynch viewpoint and the real reason that he went looking for someone else scummy was so that he didn't have to vote someone for doing the exact thing he was doing.

Back to Sully. His scumtell was not overly strong and it seems to me like he was just trying to get information from someone. I think that ckyrias was only L-5, but with 12 votes on him already, that seems like a lot and almost warranted a role claim, even if the case was weaker than a wet paper towel. With the additional inactiveness (is that a word?) of ckyrias, it seems like maybe we shouldn't have let up on him...

Wow, finally back, buisness trip from hell, let me tell you. But anytime they ship me to our corporate branch outside of Detroit it's never a good thing. They don't know how to drive up there, infact, got in an accident and spent the night in the hospital(observatio n only7, nothing major, and no, sccident was not my fault). But PRAISE JESUS I'm ok. Someone or something was watching out for me so HALLELUJAH!

Now, with that said I'm going to Unvote(if Needed) and Vote:ckyrias. Not being around is one thing, but when more then one player has seen you logged into the forums and you aren't posting just because then thats lurking and just plain wrong. Remember child, GOD SEES EVERYHTING. Now if we can just get a few more people to vote for you then the spirit of the lord can bless us all and we can complete this day!

I merely stated that I understand the reasoning. And your first point is invalid. If I were to come in here and vote cky merely for activity, that would be a surefire way to get myself killed. "Here's Tails, he comes in at the last moment and votes an inactive while inactive himself." That's pretty scummy dude. That's just asking to get lynched. It's trying to fit in and going with the flow.

Your second point, regarding the roleclaim, is absurd. Roleclaims are a last resort, and you should never roleclaim when there is absolutely no concrete evidence against you. A claim can be just as damaging to town as it is to possible scum. There was no reason to warrant any claim from anybody just yet.

That's true, although I think we should have pressured ckyrias more. Get him to L-2 and then get a roleclaim. The wagon didn't get there, and people started jumping off after he posted.

Okay but what's the point of the claim? The whole reason we wanted to lynch the inactive was to advance the game, move it to night phase. You're defeating the purpose of a sacrifice.

This stinks of the capitalist who suppresses and suffocates our freedom. There can be no votes until there are votes for all.
