Because such an ability for mafia is very much overpowered. Loose also used his abilty when there was 0 pressure on him, so I dont think it makes sense as mafia to do so.

Not a townie that's helping, though.

Still no Razor...

Meanwhile there was an OMGUS vote from Pepe. They never sit well with me. (Although it's worse when people try to expain why their OMGUS vote isn't an OMGUS vote. He didn't.) DDS didn't react to the OMGUS vote. That was weird, too.

re: scum chat. Depends on the mod. Scum was able to chat throughout in Prison mafia but not in Elementary mafia.

re: Loose. I would also think that it is an overpowered role for scum. It does strike me as odd, though, that Loose has done almost everything on the don't-list of mafia games, and perhaps he has done so in order to pull this stunt, which makes us believe that he is town. I'll concede that my first thought, as mentioned, would be that he is town, but I'm not 100% convinced.

Welcome back new Charle.

Is Town allowed to know whether scum has a day chat as well?

One thing I want to mention in advance before others do: imo the mixing of a voteless scum, which is too OP for town, and a unlynchable scum, which is too OP for scum, does not make it balanced nor likely imo. It's just way too game-warping, I only know scum invulnerabilities that means that they can only be condemned and not night-killed.

Loose remains town or 3P to me. I am curious if he can activate his power again. It would have been stupid if he isnt able to, but then again it would be consistent with his playing. I dont expect him to be able to pull this again.

Does anyone have an opinion about there only being 1 nightkill? I think we can beat the Loose horse to death, but we won't get much out of it. I'm very much lost myself.

Morning guys, I never believed in reincarnation, and then I just woke up one morning as somebody else!! Thanks to those who welcomed me back, I was just starting to get the hang of the game and really enjoy this.

One thing I can remember vaguely from the past is still that Pixar had so many chances to claim his role for quite a long time, that seems still very fishy to me. I also remember to have my doubts about Loose, but he disappeared in the mist I guess. I just hope that these statements are not going to kill me again :)

Morning Charle! This is helpful!

Loose used a smokebomb to dissapear it seems so we won't be able to find him today. But we know he wants to find the cop and he can't vote during the day. I think he is the "Evil Midnight bomber that bombs at midnight". Thinking one of the most popular vilains of the tick would surely be in play here. Dissapearing in smoke, talking about the cop (The term copper was the original word, used in Britain to mean "someone who captures" and is still used today, uncontrolled outbursts that are inconsistent to previous statements, and in the The Tick show the Evil Bomber constantly talks to himself, discussing conversations with an unknown third party which may in fact be him. It all fits Loose

But we need to search elsewhere - that was the play we got given for today. So let's return to Loose tomorrow.

Town won't know if scum has daychat or not.

re: OMGUS. You can read about it in detail here. But yeah, the crux of the matter is that someone votes for you, and then you vote for them because you feel [insert irrelevant for mafia game feeling here].

re: 1nk. I don't know what to make of it, and I think it fruitless to debate with no info to go on. Basically, we would be guessing. I'd rather hear Pixar explain why he didn't claim when Loose was let loose despite still being at L-2?

I am also thinking of a few other possibilities.

Loose disappeared and became invisible, so he cannot be lynched, but he can talk here. This means he can vote today and his vote will count?
I am also wondering if scum has powers to remove the voting rights of a townie for a day? We will see when/if Loose cast his vote?

While it's normal to claim at L-2. I didn't really feel like it was a serious push for me to claim with what was going on. If you feel you need to hear a claim out of me today, I will do it, because right now I feel like we are at a standstill. No one has come forward with any "good" evidence overnight, at least yet.

I felt that the push for your blood/claim was lame, too. I just can't match "I was about to claim" with "I didn't really feel like it was a serious push". They seem contradictory to me. Either you were about to claim and then claim regardless of what ever Loose has in his Cannon, or you refuse loudly.

And no, right now I'm not too interested in you. I want to hear from Razor. And Bax if possible. I'm also looking forward to traffic's vote/input (and the other dude that hasn't said anything). I've only played one game with traffic, and in that game we were scum together, so we're probably weary of each other :D

Loose can talk so i would think he can vote?
But even before his "smokebomb dissapearance" he never did vote again dispite being asked to do so by many.. Also he already said he knew he could not vote, only he was thinking the "non-vote" could not be seen as such by the rest. So that excludes the scum remove voting power idea on him.

Rereading it all in search of other clues i come back to Pix. But nothing new there. And yes Pix is a suspect but its a meager case. Also as the Mod's avatar is showing the moon from the tick (the one with the 2 letters carved into) perhaps there is a clue in it? The one we need to search for?

PS: For now im wondering if Loose had the power to use the "smokebomb invulnerability" by choice or was it just a mod triggered event? And if so why?

In any case - he got 3 votes just before and i had a feeling it would rise to a lot more real fast.

Yes exactly.
"I just can't match "I was about to claim" with "I didn't really feel like it was a serious push". They seem contradictory to me."

Pix and Loose had certainly some fishy things going on because when Pix got on 8 votes and was about to make his claim it was Loose that made his "critical error" exposing himself voteless (just to deflect Pix it seems because the motives to vote for Ragian by Loose were so far-fetched):

by Loose Canon on Sun Sep 03, 2023 11:25 am
Morning!
Why are you afraid of work, my friend? :-s
The above early post by Ragian makes me a little bit suspicious of Ragian. Humorous light digs early on when there is nothing really to go on - makes me think this might be the kind of psychology someone getting into the mindset of a dastardly supervillain. I know Ragian has been humorous since too, and so for that reason I'd like to keep him around. But with so little to go on, I do want to throw a bit of shade on Ragian.
by Loose Canon on Sun Sep 03, 2023 12:52 pm
Pixar the studios taking over the world of The Tick might be a sort of joke by Degaston so I might change my vote to Pixar.
But for now I want to see if there is any traction for voting Ragian - for the reasoning of my previous post.
So Vote Ragian

Loose voted Ragian and exactly 6 minutes after the next Mod count Pix posted he would claim, well he said "before i claim":

by *Pixar* on Tue Sep 05, 2023 5:46 pm
Before I claim should we look at why Loose Cannon's vote didn't count for Ragian? Was that a typo?

Seemed like he was waiting on that Mod count..don't it? Or is that far-fetched?

In any case the Final outcome of that play was:
Loose got exposed voteless (yes by Pix) but Pix got off the claim hook.. Could it be the purpose of the non-voting exposure that was just to help Pix avoiding having to claim?

And Ragian is very right when he says:
"I just can't match "I was about to claim" with "I didn't really feel like it was a serious push". They seem contradictory to me."

*Pixar* himself wrote:

"I got fast posted by that vote count which made me retract my claim"

Read that again:

"I got fast posted by that vote count which made me retract my claim"

A) very coincidentally that this would happen in reality
B) if you say you was about to post your claim but got fast posted surely you had to consider it a serious push?

So the question now is do we want Pix to claim like he said he would or not? "If you feel you need to hear a claim out of me today, I will do it"

I will push for Pix if there's no one else but for now I'm adding myeslf to Rag.
