I finally read up. It's too much of a coinicdence for there to be two relatively obscure historians who also happen to be rivals with no link in my opinion. I do find it a bit strange that they would both claim survivor. I think a good bet would be maybe to investiage/vig one of them tonight and see what happens.

Fair enough, but then what do you suggest for a lynch?

Why not lynch one, and vig(SK if there are and they want to help) the other if we got pro town on one?

Because then we are out both of our historians, at least one of which we would surely like to keep.

I agree with Ice, but if we follow that, then who dies?

Kalish's death really gave us nothing.

Another possibility that I just considered is that instead of being lynchers, they could get a new power when the other one dies. I mean, this is an experimental mafia, it's not unlikely to have a multi-faceted role like that.

But if you want my opinion, I would rather not give a 3rd party a win so easily. I think the best option would be to hope for a vig kill/investigation. In a game so big, there's bound to be a vig-type or cop-type role. If we lynch one, chances are that there will be no benefit for town.

Just don't make a cop reveal themselves for us. I'm not worth it. I'm a little worried that scum will push for an investigation so much that they'll have a good target night 4. But go ahead and vig one of us, if you really want to.

(pref. not me? ;) )

Why is that? This is the exact sort of thing I was complaining about in the beginning. Could you please tell me why a townie would want to be lynched?

But it usually isn't for the greater good for a townie to die. And it usually isn't very fun to get a Game Over, even if you eventually win--we're here because we like to play Mafia, not die early and watch other people play, no matter what our role.

Scum don't care who get lynched if it's not them or their scum buddies. Townies meanwhile only want to lynch the minority who are mafia, so should give more of a shit about who it is that goes to the gallows. Of course usually it's about 100 times subtler but then this is animo..

Personally I think dito is more likely to be scum out of the two. Partly because the tentative link with kalish, and partly because his claim was under pressure, while exile's was unprompted. Although I guess exile would have had to come out eventually to do the vote counts..

I don't think there's any doubt they're both historians, lyncher/lynchee (possibly both lynchers after eachother) and both survivors seem the most likely alignments. I can't see either of them being mafia now really

This is getting really really frustrating. At this point, I'm almost ready to demand that you lynch one of us today, just so that I don't have to put up with this anymore. It'd be a relief if you just went ahead and lynched me, so that you could just see my role, or if you lynched exile, so I could see his role.

If dito wants to be lynched I highly doubt he's scum. Thus exile is the other candidate for the lynch. They could both easily be telling the truth, no catch involved.

Would you rather play out a game in its entirety or get lynched on day two. Even if you ended up winning in both scenarios, which would you rather?

Play out the game to it's finish, obviously. But this game is so overwhelming to me right now, that I'm not sure I'd care if I had to stop playing. I'll keep trying to make you all see the truth, of course, but it's frustrating to know that you'll never fully believe me until I'm dead -- that's why it's tempting to give up.

Once again while the patients were arguing amoungst each other the speakers overhead cracked and buzzed signalling they were again being turned on, a moment later a odd, fast talking male voice could be heard coming through it.
"To stop the infiltrators, You must find Helen of troy"
After this message the speakers fell silent again.

While puzzling over this one of the inmates noticed one head missing in their headcount. They started a search for this missing patient and called out for them but recieved no response. Finally they all returned to the assembly room to discuss going deeper into the Asylum when the missing patient suddenly burst into the room "Look what I found!" The inmate was covered in dust and holding a rolled up sheet of blue paper.
It appears while one of the inmates was exploring they found a map of the floor. The inmates decide to make use of this map.

Image
This is the map of the floor the patients are currently on. During this day phase everyone can select a room to visit, the consequences of moving about are unknown. Doing so could benefit yourself and the town, or could be hazerdous. Or nothing could happen at all. It is up to you to decide what you want to do. Anyone who does not send in the name of a room to go to will stay where they are. Everyone has a 'default' spot, which is your cell. Patients 1-7 on the player list belong to Cellblock A, 8-17 are in Cellblock B, 18-27 in cellblock C, and 28-32 in cellblock D.
This map movement will occur at night after this day phase.

Ha, I can't draw schematics very well. Anyway, some rooms don't have names because they aren't relevant, I just needed to fill up the space really. Vote count coming in a tick.
Also poor pancake wants in, too bad no one needs replacing currently
