Fair enough. Jonty, SG7, and Clever all deserve a closer look at, but that can wait for Day 4. I'm saying it again, in case I'm not around, red are Thalmor targets, of which there are three left alive, for a total of five. The Thalmor will win if these roles are dead, but not straight away.

That is all.

Unvote, Vote: Newguy

Postby everywhere116 on Tue Jun 05, 2012 12:29 pm

The villagers of Dawnstar believed themselves to have found another Thalmor among their own. They brought the accused, new guy, to the harbor and tied him to the mast of a ship. Jarl Merilis presided over his execution.

"Anything else to say, Thalmor?" she yelled.

"I'm not a Thalmor! Please don't kill me!" new guy yelled back. "I'm a true Nord of Skyrim! Jarl Skald understood what that meant!"

"He's a Stormcloak!" one of the villigers yelled.

"WAS a Stormcloak! Now I'm just a simple villager who wants to live his life in peace!" new guy yelled back.

"You are a traitor to the Empire! Guards, ready your bows....Anything else to say, rebel?"

"SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE NORDS!" new guy yelled out. Jarl Merilis gave the signal to fire. The archer's arrows soared through the air, piercing new guy's heart, killing him instantly.

Re: Skyrim Mafia Day 4: The Interrogator (10/18)

Postby everywhere116 on Thu Jun 07, 2012 8:30 pm

The guards at the gate of Falkreath were bored out of their skulls. There was basically nothing to do. All they did was arrest petty thieves and break up drunken brawls. They all wished that, just once, there was a good bandit raid, just to break the boredom. Two guards were about to start their patrol around the city walls, complaining about being stuck with guard duty while their cousins were fighting dragons. They opened the gate to start their patrol, but right in front of them was a cloaked, mysterious figure, carrying a sack.

The guards stopped and looked at the cloaked figure. "What do you want, traveler?" one of the guards asked. The guard got no response. "What is it? Dragons?" Again, no response. The guards raised their swords and approached the figure, but he dropped the sack and took off into the woods at a speed the guards couldn't hope to match. The guards didn't even bother to chase him, but they were very interested in the sack. They spoke of what could be inside of it. "Hopefully, some mead." One of them suggested.

They knelt down and opened the sack. The guard picked up the item inside. It was just a hood, black with a yellow lining. The guard picked it up and felt something heavy inside it. He flipped it around and saw two giant golden eyes looking right back at him. The head was still inside.

"Mara's mercy," the guard said. "Inform the Jarl. He'll be very interested to see this."

We have had 2 kills each night - 1 of the killers I would say was not associated with the Thalmor. If I was a roleblocker, I may be thinking that I struck gold tonight. Either that or our doctor picked the right person to protect!

I agree with this although the roleblocker shouldn't have to claim unless the person they blocked isn't getting voted for some reason.

Yes, but does that clear all stormcloaks? This guy was "remnant", if you ask me that sounds like their are others out their. And their could be mafia and SK.

Not really a review, more of a random collection of facts. I'm being pressured to get off as we speak...

Clever wanted to protect a claimed survivor. That ended up being true, but it certainly doesn't absolve him in any way.

The fact that it took jonty that long to put together that the Stormcloaks weren't a faction is disconcerting, to say the least.

Ghostly's posts don't say much. Best thing from it is a joke vote on clever. Ghostly was terribly inactive...

Pretty much everything jonty has posted is a skim, from my glance over.

Gonna Vote jonty for the time being.

I'm going to re-quote what I've already said regarding the two of them, since they've done next to nothing since then.

I mounted quite a bit of pressure on Clever, firstly. While the majority of my case was based on a possible link between him and Newguy, having Newguy's honesty proven does not clear Clever comepletely, imo.

That's not what your actions say. What exactly have you done before this point? All I've seen from you is next to nothing. When you did post, it was mostly half-hearted attempts to convince people you were still actually a part of the game.

Wait a minute. Why would the thalmor player have claimed to be a miller role? Thalmor are OBVIOUSLY the mafia here, otherwise he would not have fake claimed. So tell me, if your going to fos a player for shortening his statement to exactly because it was what he meant then how are you not going to catch this? I am not even on town's side yet I noticed this. You people are so funny :). Also, FOS jonty, because you know he didnt add anything :).

Why are they obviously mafia? I'd say it's quite possible they are third party. Two kills each night probably means more than one scum faction. Unless the town vig is being stupid.

I think a Survivor is a liability. It could be OK to leave them alone at the beginning of the game but as you near the end it's too dangerous to let them live. Looking at what X has just brought up it looks like there could be a connection between New Guy and Clever. And not just cause they're friends. My $0.02, lynch the Survivor. If he shows up scum then the vig (if there is one) can get Clever.

but a 3rd party claim & a stormcloak (people who might be mafia in this game if I've got this right). unvote vote newguy1 That's L-2 I believe.

Let me put it this way to you - BCS you're actually scum and we lynch you. WCS - you're a survivor. If you were survivor I'd be pleased if we lynched you, same with scum. So tell me, why I shouldn't lynch you.

Lynching him right now would be a huge waste of the time we have left. I'm not saying he shouldn't be lynched, but your timing is beyond terrible. As he said before, have you not noticed the last page or so worth of pressure mounted against Clever?

Pushing hard for a lynch like this isn't going to earn you any favor, that's for sure. As it stands, you just just added yourself to the list of people wot I believe we should be looking into come Day 4. Never mind earlier suspicions that were levied against you.

So, for now...

FOS: Clever

For being a derp. Why exactly are you voting against a dead man? How could you have missed that?

Vote: Jonty

Pressure vote. You're not the scummiest of the lot, but you're part of the lot nonetheless. PCM's points against you are valid as well.

I agree. We're looking at a solid trio for questioning.

Gonna Vote jonty for the time being.

well ill take the other rode vote ghostly your right by saying he has been really inactive and id like to see him come out to play.

You mean the dead guy? :-^

This friends in Mafia business is going to come back and bite you some time. You should not be talking about active games IRL.

X, PCM, I would rather lay into Clever then Jonty, but they both are doing the same business. Anyhow, we will likely have time for both. Vote Jonty.
