This is probably slightly irrelevant now, since Mitch has changed his story and now says he is "nobody" (i.e. no special powers I guess), but I'd just like to clarify something about game mechanics.

Mar was an insane Town cop. If Mitch HAD filled his shoes, would he really have gone mad in doing so? That is, is the insanity attached to the player or to the role? Intuitively, if it was real life, you would expect a sane man filling an insane man's position would not thereby go insane. So maybe if Mitch had been telling the truth, it would not have been necessary to flip the result after all? Just asking...

I believe sausage to be Town. He is also a big boy so can argue for himself.

If anything his lynch would be able to clarify weather the 8 ball can be trusted.

Well benga, I don't know if you are just lying, or your investigation got messed up somehow, but you're wrong. What was the exact result you received?

An argument for my being town: I did feel free to vote pt for claiming like he did, and as such open myself to investigations, because I didn't think I had anything to fear since I didn't expect multiple bad cops. I would say I'm sorry for taking up two if the towns investigations, but it appears we have a ton, and some are not to be trusted.

Really with conflicting investigations, you'll have to look at my play so far, does it make me more likely to be scum or town, and am I more likely to be scum than other players?

I think the magic 8-ball would be more reliable than just an investigation, as it is a gift.

I'm not sure what to make of mitch, he claimed to be a deputy with results on storr and Aladdin that are opposite of other results, if he was actually a deputy taking over for marashu, this would clear it completely up as then storr = town and Aladdin = anti-town. Now he has backed off and claimed to be nothing? wtf?

Also, I've seen multiple people refer to IB as an insane guard.. I thought we had already cleared that up, he is (or at least has claimed to be) a guard of an insane asylum.

One final thought: stop with the talk about the PR's being alignment indicative. While possible, there isn't much of a way of knowing at all unless one of them flips and the role name makes it apparent. Those posts are just distracting when there is already plenty of confusion from all the craziness of the claims and the voting.

Because of the plethora of possible roles in this game. Presumably your idea is, vig claims so the doc knows who to protect. But this game is far too large and far too non-standard for that to be a good idea before we have an idea of what abilities people have. Just as an example, what if mafia have a watcher? Then we just lost the doc on N2. On the other hand, if the vig stays anonymous, they have a 28-strong field protecting them via security through obscurity.

At first I thought that no roles show be told on day 1 but with further thought maybe the VIG should name them selves ,it would be good for town but this is a bastard game and the VIG could also be scum so we have to watch who claims and then take it from there. Also we have to remember the MOD wanted the non action roles to confirm ASAP, THE question is how many non action roles are there ?
