Yeah yeah, no talking at night and all. Just want to say I'm only playing a game. Ghostly, I am just playing a role. If I am acting like an ass it's for a purpose, I am not a nasty guy. I also happen to love playing here. If you have an issue with the way I am handling myself feel free to PM me.

I am also sorry if I am coming off as an ass. I am just trying to prove my points that I make and back them. It sucks when someone interrupts that, but I am willing to accept that its a game, and that is okay by me. If I live through the night, then I will look into pressuring you some more. If not, then I wish everyone the best of luck, and will drop in again to say so, and continue to read up and see who wins, etc. Anyways, its night time. I am glad we could talk it out a bit, but I am going to hush up now.

So, I'm tired so I'll keep this brief.

Dead players talking is against the rules if anything relevant is discussed. It is possible that a dead player says something that he does not consider relevant but that in fact is. If I conclude that a post made by a dead player intefered with the game, I'll modkill someone from that person's faction as punishment (can't kill someone that is already dead!).

In this particular case, I'm going to rule zimmah's post as irrelevant since I don't think jgordon1111 would have survived anyway. However, I'll urge every dead player to think twice (or perhaps even three times) before posting, so that they don't slip anything that may be considered relevant.

Oh, Costa Del Sol! Nothing like celebrating Scarlet's demise with a good resting morning on the beach! Celebrations were, however, shorter than expected as the waves brought 2 corpses to the sand.

Dukasaur - Reno, Turk, has been pulverized by a huge make cannon.

Image

Djfireside - Aerith Gainsborough (from Final Fantasy VII, the game), town doctor, has been impaled by a masamune.

It is now Day V.

With 13 players alive, it takes 7 to lynch!

NOOOOO...I think I know who the last Turk is but I won't reveal it. My vote right now would go for Vio. Her overall behavior has been more erratic but Edoc would be my second choice.

You have been more active today and that slightly concerns me because now the one who brought a case against you is dead and you seem to be trying to fit in. I am saying it completely goes against how you have been going this entire game and only one thing has changed. C9 brought a case against you and got indirectly killed.
Blah blah blah? Come on really? It was a good case which c9 brought against you and I want to go further against you with it today. If blah blah blah is going to be your defense then its about as full of substance as your other posts have been this game. What's with the sudden change because your playing style shouldn't change throughout a game but yours has. Make a few points in your defense because I am not voting for jgordon until I know why you changed your play style.

dead people can talk as long as it's not affecting the game. and if that post is seen as game related and the mod decides to ban me from all future games, i don't even really care so much, as i don't really like most of the community here anyway, too much bullshit. sorry for those few players who do contribute to a nice game, but most of the games here either bleed to death because of inactivity or go horribly wrong because of triggerhappy tards and people drawing horrible conclusions based on random 'facts'.

Zimmah, you've changed buddy. I used to love all the games I was with you because you are one of the more intelligent individuals on here. But recently, your attitude has changed dramatically, and its not for the better. I think maybe just take a break, take a month off and come back, don't take anything personal in mafia.

Re: Final Fantasy VII Mafia [13/25] - Day V - SEPHIROTH!

Postby ghostly447 on Fri Jan 20, 2012 12:58 pm

Okay it is clear to me that sephiroth is an sk. If you can't see why, go to wiki and read up. Shinra corporation used making energy which I think we have concluded I believe. They also made sephiroth. Read the plot, I looked at players but only read the plot last night. He was shinra corporation until the end where everyone is trying to stop him.

I want to look into edocsil. My debate with him got cut short. I am on my way to the beach right now and therefore on my phone..so slow responses can be expected and once I get to the beach I will only be posting at night.

So lets try this again. Why, edoc, did your activity spike last night? Another tiny bit of a coincidence is that sephiroth got his first kill night 3 and you got active day 4. So lease explain.

Sorry for double posting but edoc, you apologized that you may be acting like an ass and then you also mentioned you were just playing a role. Does that mean I can connect those things together? Because you did say if you were acting that way, there was a reason for it.

In short I spiked because the game got fun and I got back to school. For many personal reasons that I have no desire to talk about on the internet I now have more free time then previously. Also you are implying that I missed night actions and that I will not stand for. It is highly doubtful that I have ever been so wanton as to completely miss a game phase.

The game is fun because not its moving. I hate D1 with a passion, and early D2 is about as entertaining. From then until now we have had fairly solid cases made by others that it would have been pointless for me to distract from, it would have served no purpose, cases should be dealt with one at a time IMO.

That is perfectly fair to equate. I have found that making fun of someones accusations are often the best way to counter them, so long as it is supported by a reasonable amount of logic as well. Being dismissive of a case implies that my own belief is that the case if foolish and incorrect, and that belief will cause others to hopefully reconsider their own convictions.

THe act confident and dismissive routine is actually something I learned from Nag and Ga7.

I like the Vio case better than the Edoc case. She only pops up for short bits mostly late in bandwagons and does not stick around for much discussion other than trying to get everyone to speed up the game. She has also skimmed horribly on at least two ocasions she has shown that she has forgotten key aspects of what has happened in the game. Vote vio

And edoc just so you know I still have my suspicions due to that I could probably go again all of your points. Maybe you are the gf but I don't see you as sephiroth. Though you could have been role blocked the first 2 nights I think your internet problems are going to be enough for me to drop the case for just a few hours at least.

I'm on the work computer and can't see that video... Is it important?

ghostly, I am right there with you and everything you are thinking right now. I can understand edoc's defense. And I certainly wouldn't expect him to have introduced cases the past few days with the way that they went down so quickly, but I don't think his explanation clears him. Com9 knows edocs style and the case was very well put together. I'm glad we got it before Com9 died. I'm trying to decipher what town role he might have where 'playing like an ass' is something that he would want to do. I'm not sure about that.

strike, I never played with Nag and Ga7. Can you tell me the full names? Are they good old school mafia players?

I also agree about Vio. I think we should give her a day or two, because she did say she was moving or something, but we can't wait forever, Vi. The one thing that I will say in her defense is that the style strike describes is how she is often in games I have been with her. I don't think that should clear her by any means, but I don't think it's out of the ordinary. I'm holding off voting for now.

You indeed have not been in a game with Ga7 however you and Nag were mafia buddies in Game of Thrones...While it has been a while since I've played with Vio, I don't recall her wanting to speed up days so much as she is in this one. voting late in bandwagons before but that's all she's doing. I do feel her behavior is out of the ordinary.

I am on my computer now, and since it doesnt look as though any fast progress is being made, I am going to go eat, maybe go swim, and I think I will re-introduce the Edoc case. And chapcrap, I dont think I said it completely clears him. If I remember correctly, I just said it clears him of being sephiroth, but said he may be GF.

Either way, he cant kill anyone in the day if he is mafia, I am going to go grab some grub and I will talk with you guys in probably either half an hour, or 2 hours depending on if I go to the pool or not. Then I will gather what I have seen and post it. :)

ghostly, I said I was on the same page with you about edoc. You don't need to defend yourself so much. This is just an open conversation. I wasn't implying that you thought edoc was clear. I do not think that you ever thought that.

strike, now that you re-state the case on Vio, I much more agree with you. In the previous post you made, the case seemed weaker, but you are right, even though she is a little erratic and inactive, it's not usually like this. I will go ahead and unvote vote Vio.

Nag still shows up now and then. Not the most active but he usually at least does enough to make an impact and not have to be replaced until he dies (n1 usually) and Ga7 kind of has tried to make come backs but hasn't been able to finish games.

I dont think I over defended myself personally. I was just trying to make it clear for everyone around that I only cleared him for being Sephiroth (and that is 90% sure. Who knows what could have happened, because I am curious why sephiroth didnt kill for the first 2 nights. I think I may have figured it out though. Bare with me, I seriously dont know what the reason was, but I have a couple ideas.

1. Sephiroth may have been role blocked (2 nights in a row seems like it wouldnt have happened, because a role blocker would have blocked one night, and left them another night so they could catch them)
AND, What I think to be more likely!
2. I believe, after reading the plot on wikipedia, that Sephiroth may have been mod blocked due to the original story line in either the movie or the game. In the movie or the game (wiki didnt make it clear which), sephiroth started off as Shinra's experiment. But, after going and burning (I think it was nebielhiem or whatever, I dont think the town name is important) a city, he disappeared (near about 2/5 of the way through) then reappeared about 4/5 of the way through, and he was basically against the everyone as he tried to conquer the world.

Now, my thought is that maybe rodion took his disappearance into account when planning his game, and decided that sephiroth would MISS the first 2 kills. Like I said, I am not positive, and only Rodion could confirm why exactly 2 turns were missed. NOW I will be taking a shower and in about 15 minutes I will be ready to pressure Edoc if he is online. And if he is on, I will not quit pressuring until I am sure of what he is.

Okay. I think I pretty much can have him pinned (edoc). I quit pressuring him due to my lack of thinking at the time, and the fact I was on my phone so quoting, etc, would be tough to do. But I will build a case on him if I find time tonight (I play another game online, and that will require at least an hour of my time) and if I dont, I WILL do it tomorrow if time permits.

Rodion, could there be a mass prod on alt1978, drake_259, MOB Deadly (since I see him active in another game of mine!), thehippo8, and Eldario?

Please and Thank you :)
