Have different shades of red, and just the numbers in the territory. One block will be one shade, another block will be another shade, ect. Another option would be a grid. I think this map has some potential.

will do in the next update, i was also thinking of using letters instead of numbers, if i use letters i could theoretically label every territ in the whole map without going over 2 letters per territ

just a thought, why not have it so that all 409 territs are playable but each terit starts with some out rageous number to prevent people from early elimination
like 30 per terit

I disagree. I think this map could have a lot going for it. Perhaps offer more bonuses, such as regional bonuses, or a bonus for an outline of the star, or all the territs on the outside.

Alright, fair enough. But there's gotta be some appeal beyond 400 territories for this to really work, IMO.

I think if you are going to divide the map into regions (with different letters), you should include continent bonuses as well...

the letters are just to make it easier to know where is what, they are WAAAAY to big to own as a bonus

For my part, this is a good map. Then again, I'm a firm believer that "the more territories, the better", so...

I'm up for it, but i'd want a lot of bonus regions and some impassibles. I think the conquer club emblem would be a good idea to have as a map, but it's a decidedly ambitious project. I'll make any suggs i see...

For something like this, you'll definitely have to consider how army counts of 3+ digits will fit into each region. 400 may not be the way to go, but even half that might still have interesting appeal.
