i like this map, and i'm glad you got rid of the photos. the gameplay is very unique, and would be very interesting to play.

I'm glad you like the gameplay. I'm having a blast trying to plan ways to keep theprotector from beating me in our test game. You should check it out. Last two rounds he had the objective and I was able to sneak it away from him using varied combinations of bombards and attacks.

yes. my bad. besides the same instructions tell you that full forwards can attack goals! Good catch!
do you get territory bonuses? (4 for 12 terits, 5 for 15, etc.) or is there none? i seem to recall you said before that there were none of those, but there is no mention of it in the legend.

glad you brought this up. Yes, originally I was going to rely on a flat deploy but I have determined it unnecessary. Given the few number of territories (it hasn't even come into play in our 2 player game yet) it isn't worth the xml coding to be honest. Nor do I think it adds anything to the gameplay having seen some action now. So I quietly dropped it during one of the drafts (first by accident actually) and see no need for it. Also it turns out that you cannot zero the territory bonus in the xml.
