in some of these you can see wery difficult blue and stil people play these maps.

You say to took out the neutral territories, and some say to put,who is right.
Have somebody can confuse Russia and Western Europe, only a daltonist can.

Yes I agree, not everyone is going to be happy with the final result.

I'm not saying to take out the neutral territories, just do something with them. I don't see how a transparent country with a yellow outline constitutes it being neutral or unused. It looks weird and confusing. If you removed them or filled them in with black or dark grey I think the map would be easier to understand at first glance.

As for the number shadows... yes there are a number of maps that use very dark shadows and I dislike that fact on all of them. I don't understand the need for them to be so dark that it makes gameplay harder than it needs to be.

I still think you need to choose more colours for your continents. 2 green & 2 blue doesnt really work.

The greens aren't too bad, but the blues definately need seperating.

If you could again post the latest small map and large map in a post, I'd like to review a few things.

Hey Qwert, there was no Turkey in World War I...it was still the Ottoman Empire back then.

I think you should change the names South and East Turkey to something more appropriate.

Alright, lets see...I'll first comment on visuals, as they are by far the easiest to speak on.

First off, the Bonus Legend...the number's don't fit in their respective boxes. Also, I am not to keen on the color chosen to display the names, and the 'impassable borders'.

Also, right away, I notice that your Army shadows look a little too small to handle the numbers. I suggest looking into buffing their size a little.

I'd look into different fonts perhaps. On the small map, some areas are especially congested, and a few are hard to read.

The colors are pretty easily distinguished...but I think Russia and Western Europe's colors on the map need to be a little more different, so you can clearly tell they are different. Look into various tones and shades.

As for the background and other things...I like them. The use of the pictures, and how you represented the non gameboard areas works pretty well and looks nice.

Definitely need to work on making the small map easier to read, both in some colors and fonts (including sizes).
Just a few things! I'll be back to comment more on playability and other things later.

There are rivers?

I had to pay close attention to the large map to notice. I'd only really paid attention to the small image considering that's what I play on.

I dont think country names should be going off in all directions like they do at the moment. It makes things a bit confusing.
I still think you need to change some continent colours as well. You have blues and greens which are similar (and not easy to tell apart) then you have a bright red continent. It looks out of place. And the Balkan Countries colour is too similar to the water.
The small map seems very cluttered and confusing.
You definantly need to make the rivers more obvious, I also had trouble seeing them.
The key also needs to be re-worked. It is cluttered and hard to read.

Also, is there a reason you are pretty much ignoring everyone but Andy's comments?

I think this could be a decent map to play. But currently, for me it is too ugly visually.

Your small map is too small, mate. You should use a bigger image. Really, names are toooo crowded. I counted 48 countries, maybe you could remove some, even why the smallest continent has 5 countries. Countries dispersion is 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11. Shouldnt we have at least one more continent, in this situation?

Really, names in directions are irritating, and even the legend is crowded. Another thing, I like the ocean, but I think neutral countries being like ocean is very bad, is troubling me to see the map as something I know. It seems to have a part lacking, if you understand me. Use another colour or texture to lands.

You have many types of things like unpassable, for what? Is there any difference between rivers, mountains and front lines? If no, maybe you could make it more simple.

Well, like Andy, can I suggest another colour scheme? No only west and Russia, but Hungary and Germany have alike colours, I think.

I trust this will be a good map, but for now its not readable. Keep the good work going.

qwert, you wont be able to ignore people forever. Especially if they have big problems.
You may as well address them while you wait for andy's opinion cos I doubt he will final forge anything that people have BIG problems with.
Marvaddin basically agreed with a few of my points.
Myself & Keyogi are not the only ones with big problems. And we arent going to go away just cos you dont like our opinions.

As I said, this could be a good map with some visual changes.

Hmm. I doubt that. It's not even called Eastern Turkey today!

Ok i must to do 1 experiment.
I take 5 maps to compare with my map, these map it's-Ancient Greece-Tamriel-Germany-Europe and Usa.
1 question-Umpasabile borders
No these map have box explain what is Umpasabile borders
2 question- map dimension it's similar with my map.
3 question- Text font these map have to small letters and some it's hard to read especially Tamriel,Germany,Ancient Greece and Usa map.
4 question- Legend Tamriel have wery dificulty read box legend, and usa have to small box legend.
5 question- have these map pass with those problems?.
And for conclusions-If you want say something to improve any map with yours advice you must compare new map with others map who pass "hard recommendation" to be valid for play.
IF you dont belive i can put all those map vith mi in 1 page and present.
