This is my first attempt at a map so please, constructive criticism

I've got all the parts separated in layers in photoshop, do I need to colour them in myself, or does the XML do that? Also adding spaces for dots for troop numbers...? Also any assistance in making the next step from here from experienced cartographers would be appreciated
