there are 20 terits so in 1v1 each player gets 6 terits.
those 6 can very easily include 3 guns and 3 ducks of the same color. that's +5. +5 and +3 for the terits = +8 from turn 1. add those 8 on top of 3 and you get a 11 army which can easily kill 3 terits of the opponent if not more.
in doodle you have just 1 continent with 3 terits. here you have many many more.
Yes Dim....i understand...i just had a speed game of doodle earth and i won the game first turn of the fourth round. Talk about quick. I got n america and two on s america in the carve up. so it is possible there also.
That's what this is designed to be.... a quick game.
I'd be happy to consider other bonus suggestions if you have them with explanantion, m8!

yep of course in doodle earh is also possible i didn't say it isn't i just said that here it's more likely to happen here than on doodle.
you got 8 guns and 4 groups of ducks, why not make colored guns like domination said. make them green blue yellow red green blue yellow red.
this way they are interlaced.
make 3 ducks of the same color worth +1, +2 if owned with 1 gun of same color and +4 if owned with 2 guns of same color.
also make the guns only attack adjacent guns and ducks of their color.
if you do so you not only reduce the number of possible attacks but also reduce the possibility of getting a big bonus from round 1.
