2. Also, there is a poll that you can all take:

Update from Lack:

lackattack wrote:The people have chosen... and, as is the will of the masses, we will change the army shadows to White 30%. A runoff vote really isn't necessary considering that all white shadow votes add up to 57%. As Twill mentioned having an option for toggling the artwork is not on the table because it would put other much more interesting and important changes even further behind.

I think this is a Classic the vast majority of members will enjoy. We'll let the dust settle and see how it goes before considering further changes so we can make an informed tweak rather than an emotional one.

Thanks to everyone for voicing their opinion and participating in this important process! We will be sure to notify you of any future major changes long before they happen to avoid anything like this again.

the new change is honestly an eyesore even worse than the last "update" I would say, at least you could read that without straining your eyes, did you guys try to read green troops in Africa, red in Asia, or blue in Europe?

Honestly? just change it back to the the original, I didn't hear many people complaining about it before.

the 50 people petition is dwarfed compared to the 400+ vote on the new white circles image ;)

Think about it for 1 second gimil... That thread was posted on every single my games page on this site. There were thousands of people that voted in the poll.

This version is much better than the 60% version... thank you. I still think the old classic is the best though, but i'll settle for this one.

Thanks guys...white 30 is much easier on the eyes than white 60 :)

I still think an ever better solution would be to make all the countries much lighter colors...pastels....as in the some of the other maps...then no backing circles/shadows would be needed at all :)

At least you are trying to make improvements..and we all know that no matter what you do some people will complain

I congratulate you most of all on the Democratic way you handled this adjustment from white 60 to white 30 :)
