As far as Lack telling how many premiums there are, I was thinking immediately that it would be nice to know. That's why I just read through this whole topic. I do find it encouraging to first hear success stories before investing, which I have yet to do (I'm broke). If it was possible to view who all became premium, it would be accessible information still because we could just count up the premium members if we really cared to do so.

With the ratings system, I think it's good the way it is. Premium members will have their ranks shooting up, but guess what, those who aren't premium can still join their games and get more points for beating them, making everyone get shots at growing in rank.

I like the way the score/games system works, because it prevents people from cheating the system by doing something called "point stacking" in many other online turn-based games.

I like what you've done here, Lack, and I think it's cool that you take the time to listen to what we have to say, as well. Thanks for a great game. I have some ideas that I'll throw on the other board, we'll see what you think.

Why? Getting the rank promotion is the compensation for being a good player.

why not

Postby wolfman on Thu Apr 27, 2006 7:45 pm

why not have some other reward for being the best

I mean think about it how many people are there who could even become genrals?? no matter how much they played, I will bet that there are about 20 people on this site that could ,much less, will make it.

Postby wolfman on Tue May 16, 2006 6:30 pm

what I never said I... well o.k. so what It would be nice to get free premium membership and all but I wasn't whining(spell check). I was simply asking if we would get something or not!! I just thought that premium membership would be a good reward.

well on second thought you pretty much have to be a premo to be a genral

i like the Premium Membership ability. Its more fun when you can have more games and I was quite annoyed by only being able to have 4 games. This was the same with my friend, so i signed both of us up for it.

Its well worth it if you feel like playing conquer club often.

thanks for the great site.

Yes, on the homepage on the left hand side is a gift certificate button. Eneter their user name when prompted, and pay as per buying your own. They then receive an email telling them of the upgrade.
Positive: Great guy, will always play to his best. Honourable and fun to play with as well. You know you're in for a rough time playing mrdexter :) Game 31384 Haydena
Positive: Mr D is the golden child of CC, if we had to elect a king he'd get my vote! Game 76700 silus

I thought I had seen a gift certificate icon, but I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Dang if I don't see it now either- has it been removed?

I looked with firefox and with ie and I see no icon. Help?

I just came here although I did have a dejavu moment as I think I played this game or one like it years ago.

I like the site and would like to upgrade but I really dislike paypal and finally got all my cc'ds paid off and cut them up so was wondering if in the future you might add using a bank card or accept say postal money orders to a postalbox to help those of us that dont use ccd's anymore and refuse to use paypal another option.

You don't need a credit card. PayPal lets you pay through your bank account.
