Just a random thought from a South Jersey native. Mt. Holly is north of Mt. Laurel. I'd call the south/east half of Burlington County "Pine Barrens" maybe or for a town actually down there (Tabernacle? Shamong?).

Like the colour scheme. Try to avoid getting red in there. Would totally mess things up. Thumbs up it looks much better than the last time I had a look at it.

The "+" on +1 Autodeploy on Trenton is WAY too small. Cheat that one alone and make it a bigger font size.

On the graphical front, the rivers are EXTREMELY flat, as well as the bridges. Considering the nice gradient you have for the ocean and the relative "pop" of the mountains and trees, it's a tad jarring.

Thing that is concerning me gameplay wise here is the tapered center of the state creates a bottleneck that can allow for a person to hold a +13 bonus in South Jersey or a +11 bonus in North Jersey by defending just 3 territories. :? Being in the center of the state is gonna be like being in the DMZ... AN additional path through Penn. and/or down the coast (intra-coastal waterway?) will go a long way to balancing out the map.

The legend is taking up a TON of room, and most of it is blank space, somewhat center the map a bit more, cut out chunks on Penn. and Delaware and shrink down the mini-map and the compass rose. Utilize some more of this space!

You should make a connection to New York. This New York territory would be able to bombard every territory on the map.

Why? Because New York is just better. ;)

Kidding, guys. This has made some huge improvements. Nice job.

thejersey shore should be represented as its own territories ( adding 4 or 5 terts onlong the east coast would allow for easier movement from north to south and give an alternative to the bottleneck in the middle..instead of seaside being this huge territory representing seaside heights as the coastal community , and changing seasideheights tert into lancaster or manchester is just an example of how to add ...

You could add the Somerville circle. It would give you access you to several bonus regions, but holding it gives you -1 troops.

I agree with RedBaron0. I think you can add a route going through Philly which can be a killer 2 neutral - somewhat similar to 13 Colonies Indian Territories - from Flemington to Glassboro. On the coast possibly a bridge connecting Tuckerton to Atlantic City. This will make the south having to use 5 territories to defend the +12 bonus. The north will then have to use 6 territories to defend a +18. This I believe should be fair.

One way to allow for easier access between north and south would be to use the turnpike and/or parkway the same way you would use airports.

the turnpike could connect Hoboken and Salem (but nothing in between) and the parkway could connect cape may and patterson (but again nothing in between)

or the Amtrack rail-line to connect camden (though it doesn't actually go there but close enough) to hoboken and a couple other terts.

It probably isn't possible but it would be cool if Atlantic City could be some kind of random auto-deploy. so each round you could get anywhere from -2 troops to +2 troops. you know, to play on the whole gambling thing.

As a South Jersey guy I am looking forward to playing this! keep up the great work.

Will post update in the next day or so. changed the theme a bit, went 50's postcard style, gives it more personality. Also added crossings on the left and right, both connecting north and south, which helps the bottleneck problem in the center of the map.

Wow... this is looking really good now.

Using arrows for the Interstate attacks makes it appear as if those are one-way attacks, which would make that space inaccessible. I think the attack routes would be clearer without arrows.

The dice look pixelated and the drop shadow is out of place. You could probably find a better image of dice or make your own.

Shouldn't the mountains in the north look more like hills than alpine peaks? :)

Lastly, drop the baseball players and show the Devils some love! :P

Here's my analysis as to what the bonuses should be:
  • W. Skyland: +2 (Alternatively - which would be better - you could have Sussex border Montville and keep it +3)
  • E. Skyland: +5
  • N. Gateway: +3
  • S. Gateway: +3
  • Delaware River: +6
  • Jersey Coast: +4
  • Atlantic City: +2
  • South Coast: +3
Some other comments:
  • I think the killer neutrals would do better as 1's instead of 2's, as I don't see them being used too much otherwise (even for just 2).
  • I think also the "+1 autodeploy on Trenton" would do better up by the minimap.

Following up on the concept of breaking the map into smaller zones...the "Leeward " zone wouldn't work...Call it "South Jersey"

After all, I live in South Jersey :)
