I'll have the games for the Native round sent out within the next hour or two. The Native round is a best-of-three series, so you will have to vanquish your next opponent twice.

Dibbler and azak848 are going at it hammer and tongs... they were so enthusiastic they almost had their first game finished before I had all the invites out...:-)

Good to see a couple of my favourite interview subjects getting into my tourney! =D> =D>

I only regret that one of you will be gone after this round...:(

Unfortunately for Azak the luck meter has been squarely on my side so far in all the games.

Plus he also ran up against the best Canadian on CC... Right Dukasaur? 8-[

Don't know if I'm the first but I'm through to the 3rd round. I was right Azak could not overcome my good dice to start each game.

GreenBaize, Dibbler, DoomYoshi, and wrexham advance to the next round on the Canadian side.

Dagdam0r, aalii, mcshanester29, and metsfanmax are through to the next round on the American side.

Congrats to all, and next round games have been created!

Much to my disappointment, no Canadians have survived this round. An American and a Brit will fight it out for the right to represent Canada in the final. Almost like real-life history....:-)
Meanwhile, two Americans will battle it out on the American side.

aalii and metsfanmax advance to the Master Round on the American side. GreenBaize and wrexham will contest the Master Round on the Canadian side.

Condolences to all my fellow Canucks... we tried, but you can't win 'em all...:-)

Congrats to Metsfanmax, Master of the American side! =D> =D>

Now we wait to see if a Brit or an American will represent Canada in the final...:-)

I think an American would be quite amusing :D

By the way, aalil did an excellent job, I barely pulled that win out. Congratulations there as well.

Yeah, aalii is a top-notch player.

Anyway, while it did look for a while as if Canada might be represented by an American, it will be a Brit. GreenBaize has won 3 of the 5 games in his series against wrexham, and although there is still one active game in that series, we can already declare GreenBaize the winner.

The final will be Metsfanmax vs. GreenBaize! Congratulations both!

I forfeit the final match, regardless of the outcome of the games. I do not want my first tournament win to be from a tournament where I do not meet the standards of conduct as determined by the Tournament Organizer.

Congratulations GreenBaize on a job well done.

It refers to private communication between myself and Dukasaur. It is not important what was said, I just do not want to take part in his tournaments any longer, nor do I want to receive a medal for winning one.

As far as I can see, you performed brilliantly throughout the tournament, and you won the final round by a resounding 6-1 margin. You deserve the medal, and what was said in a PM isn't directly relevant.

If you insist on forfeiting I suppose that is your right, but I would strongly urge you not to. Let's take a couple days to cool off before we make a final announcement, okay?

Dukasaur and I were able to resolve our differences, so please ignore my earlier statement. Sorry for the confusion, and congratulations again to GreenBaize on a job well done.
