Don't you hate people like me who don't read rules and then complain? Sorry about that one. Good luck everyone - your tourney just got easier without me in it!

You'd like that I'm sure, I'm not sure the rest of the teams would though.

Round 1 is out. One player still to join his games.

Still a match to be decided. I check them daily and update the thread weekly. As soon as all the matches are decided I send out the games for the next round.

Still waiting. There are actually 2 matches not yet done. One series doesn't have any games finished but has the same player eliminated in two of the games so it may be ending soonish. The other set has one game over but a second victory is needed to move on

They've got it. Game 7017501 decided it.

That was the most insane 'no spoils' comeback I've ever seen... In round 11, we were up 25 regions to 11. Redfelt had 1 region left, and somehow broke my bonus.
After round 11, Redfelt and I fought over the bonus for the rest of the game, with me receiving 1 or 2 more armies per turn (due to territory count).
Eventually, he won out in round 16 and I failed to break him, automatically giving them the game.

All in all, through the first 16 rounds, our team received 28 more armies than theirs.

In no way am I complaining here, of course... the dice affect everyone equally.
But, honestly, I wish I could have some sort of playback button to see what happened in every single turn of this game... seriously... we received 124 armies to their 96 through 16 rounds. I held the +2 bonus for four consecutive turns (rounds 4-8). The other 20 extra armies I got came from territory bonuses (+1 or +2) that lasted from round 3 to round 16.

Crazy. Just... crazy.

Those were some epic games, Redfelt and Lokisgal! Game 7017503 is in round 19, but I think we have it... honestly, I can never be sure of a CC win ever again... that game has scarred me for life.

Anyway... Congrats on the well-deserved and hard-fought series win and good luck in the rest of the tourney!
