I'd be making my way out into the deep woods, the heart of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest sounds about right. No sence staying anywhere near the big cities for about a year, get it time to cool down (in more ways than the obvious).

I'm pretty safe. I don't think anyone would nuke Fairbanks, Alaska. Of course, if anyone in Asia attacked the U.S., that's the first place they'd send troops, but I think I'm pretty safe from nukes.

The question is, if your nation is being invaded, what does it have to offer? Alaska has oil, among other reasources. Food, or rather, arable land could be a precious commodity in the right situation.
