Biden Accused of Plagerism

That's right! Obama has chosen someone just like himself (except for the skin color thang):

I think he was also accused of lifiting some lines from a british politician in the past as well. Hopefully they dont ask him to write documents as part of his duties as the V.P.

Silly stuff imo.

That article was from the 1980's. People can change in a few decades.

By the way, I am not interested enough in politics to find out what kind of person he is and if this is still accurate, I'm just pointing that out in case everyone else missed it.

... There's so much ammo to be used against Biden it's funny, fuel for the fires of talk radio from now until November.

... The man has experience though... He's been a professional politician since age 29. Clashes a bit with the whole "Change" theme, but BHO needed some experience on the ticket, eh?

Yeah it's weird. Biden isn't even much of an "expert" when you look at his Iraq-policy anyway.

But he will rack in the blue-collar votes though. It's a logical choice for BARACK HUSSEIN (gettit?) OBAMA since he needed the support of the older democrats.

OH MY GOD

How can Biden even be qualified to be Vice President when all he did was plagiarize in 1987 and hasn't shot ONE person in the face with a shotgun, like, ever?!

I havent seen a whole lot of things on biden that knock on his experience so much as things that as you suggest are talk radio type of things. Things that are really related to his effectiveness as a whole as a whole as vp. If the republicans are successful for a third term winning an election essentially pointing out personality flaws in the opposition instead of actually putting forward a pointed plan about their platform, it would probably affect my interest in our democratic system.

It's nice to see that there are still countries out there where people hold politicians accountable for the shit they do. In Croatia, the leader of the main right-wing party has long ago been proven to have plagiarized his thesis and yet he remains on his function. We also had a Minister of Health who, when he felled ill himself, decided to get his treatment abroad (and who could blame him  ) and an ex Minister of Finances who forgot to pay his taxes a few times (while he was the Minister, mind you). Neither of them has resigned his office.

Trust me, when it comes to these matters it is definitely better for the public to be overly critical then to be overly forgiving.

Well the basis of John McCain's stance has been borrowed from John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
McCain sez... "I will put the country first, before seeking my own enrichment." Which is
easy enough to say when you can't remember that you own eleven residences.

JFK said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

I'm not sure how much change Obama can generate, since there's always the Senate/Congress
to deal with at every turn. In current ads McCain says he knows Washington is broken...
and I can only wonder why he thinks his being president can fix that? He also says he took
on the tobacco industry and BIG oil... ??? Not sure what he accomplished there... sure seems
like business as usual as both cash in with record profits... but at least with the huge taxes
added to both products Washington get's it's 'fair' share. Thanks John, you did good man.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED eh?

The biggest difference I see between the two right now is that McCain has alterred his views
significantly since his failed bid in 2000 against George Bush, seemingly to pick up as many
of those Bush votes as he can garner by "staying the course."
