Well of course the US is our ally and i trust her actions not to 'directly' impair my life more than Russias.
But i am sure Western indignation is viewed with a level of hypocrisy by Russia.

Anyway, this is not WWIII in the making, the US is in no position to genuinely condemn or act over these actions in Georgia and around the Russian perimeter.

The Germans are strongly allied to the Russians and Western Europe, though desirous of cheap fuel, will not move in any real sense, it is not strong enough without the US.

So, realistically, Western Europe will wait until the United states invents a viable power sauce to replace fossil fuels; rescinding the Russian and Middle Eastern seat at the poker table by removing its hydrocarbon fashioned chip.
