Oh, you guys are just being cynical and down right nasty. you don't have the answers any more than does the pope. you only have your beliefs. stop touting them as better than those of anyone else and open your little minds up to the possibilities that can lead you and the rest of humanity to enlightenment. Until you can actually define a reason (something that we as human beings understand as our greatest and most unique ability, to reason) for life, you have to at least entertain the notion that life is at least a possible creation put forth by something that is greater than all of us.

I think that the vast majority of people spend too much time and energy fighting about beliefs and not spending nearly enough time trying to understand the beliefs that you so easily shoot down.

Stop being an ass and put forth a real argument if you have one. you can take creationism as a metaphor or a literalism, but is it a belief. you insult it by suggesting that it is wrong, and insulting someones belief is never going to change their mind about it.

Calm down. Read the evo/cretinism thread if you want my opinion. I'm being a smartass. If you want to debate it legitimately, save it for the civil forum or call me out in the aforementioned thread.

for those that do not know, all these *C* threads were locked and merged.
Furthermore if it continues ( be it with *d* threads or any other style of the like) those starting the threads will be getting a short vacation for doing so.

Thanks for the extra spam kiddos ;)
