As a former denizen of the forums here, and as a reluctant witness to the nuclear spammed out winter that was once Flame Wars, i applaud this new name as the dying gasp of what was once a great place to while away the hours. Looks like twildo, whump and assprowler finally achieved what natural selection could not. Flame Wars is dead - long live the "Not Yet Banned". Oh, and may the Beaners overrun us all.

good day to you, you old fart! nice to see you.
Hey you limey bastard! Good to see there's still some intelligent life here - looks pretty bleak, almost enough to be a suitable environment for whump and assprowler. Just goes to show how much damage a couple of ass clowns and a "community manager" like twildo can actually do - thank God it's only the internet.

Bleak indeed brother! Flamewars is not even worth a cursory visit; it is completely baron of humour and intellect .. much like Wales.
But much sly machination is afoot.. the lad Interfacer is committed to a guerrilla war against Twill. Issuing facebook pictures of Twill on the beach and constructing elaborate stings using false-multis. (hehe poor fellow's consumed in the V of Vendetta)
Wicked, as i am sure you noticed, is no more... dragged kicking and biting from the site in a public knicker-washing excercise. She now resides beneath the Space needle and hollers anti-CC slogans at short, bespectacled men with mustaches.
I think all the ensuing drama used up everyones innate fury in every other forum, so Flamewars has become a passionless backwater. Frequented by those going through the motions; they circle and bang their heads against the windows to get in, the cast of a George Romera movie, motioning to the vestiges of a former life.
