When I had to wear a tie to school, I chewed on them. They got fucked up.

I did it to my jumper as well. Now that wasn't a good sight.

This hasn't been substantiated, and I don't completely believe it.

I think he was holding his tie and hand up to cover his mouth, so no one could read his lips. It doesn't look like he's chewing his tie.

Of course, if the media is all saying that he's chewing his tie, that would better help conceal that he was really just covering his mouth.
