If you aren't already following Ambush Bug : Year 0 do yourself a favour and check it out. It works best if you have some idea of what's been going on in comics the last few years, (e.g. "Would you like me to put a flea in Sue Dibney's ear?") but it's not essential.

We don't have a comic shop of anykind, anywhere near here. I always had to order mine through the mail. It got to be such a hassle that I completely stopped reading them a few years back. Not to mention people judge you....

Haven't been into comics lately - with the advent of computer generated art in 95, the genre lost a lot. Some of my favorites though:
Garth Ennis - Preacher, Hit Man, and the only decent Punisher series.
Neil Gaiman - Sandman, Stardust
Todd McFarland - Spawn
Mike Mignola - Hellboy
Frank Miller - The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City, 300
Jim Shooter - All old Valiant titles

I've got about 16 of the large comic boxes stashed in a closet, which i will keep till after Armageddon and the ensuing nuclear winter.

I am officially a non-resident alien, even though I live here and don'r have another residence. Can't vote, can pay taxes...

Ambush Bug is one of the weirder characters from the DC universe, and when handled right (as just now) is v funny.

The title is of course a skit on the various "Year One" series, and the "Issue 0" of various comics too.
