Ron Paul, who, according to a recent poll, is a massive, proven racist ( viewtopic.php?f=8&t=163813&hilit=ron+paul ) will take away your rights, including your ability to appeal to courts on the federal level. In Ron Paul's apocalyptic vision for America, everyone will starve except the wealthiest one percent. He wants your families to waste away from malnutrition under his austerity measures.

Dude, Paul has a fair bit of history with racist stuff. PD isn't exactly the first to point out his slightly oily history. The guy is a career politician who appeals to libertarians for votes- of course he's gonna race bait when dog-whistle politics garner support. If you're uncomfortable clicking on PD's links, just google "Ron Paul newsletters".

PD maybe presenting an extreme view, but it isn't without evidence, and certainly is worth taking into account. No need to dismiss him out of hand without doing the research.

Let's don't forget that Ron Paul (AND HIS SON!) both have been quoted in interviews as stating that they would have voted down the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Paul's would rather let racist business owners decide that "blacks" would be still considered second rate citizens and that states would still deem that African Americans should remain at the back of the bus all the while drinking water from designated "negro" water fountains.

No thanks. Ron Paulism is Racism. Okay, he found one African American man from Texas to try to soften the years of racist stigma. A guy that Ron Paul helped with his pregnant wife when the man didn't have any money to pay for health care. Ron Paul seems to think that that is the way that all doctors should be--giving free health services--and that this one instance should erase all the years of racist rhetoric. Really? How many "free" services did Ron Paul actually give? He probably seen that as an opportunity to score political points just so he could get into congress.

Shame on the man....shame!

If. It would be a pile of ashes if aliens came from behind the sun and burnt us too, but that is about as likely at this point, so Im not worried on either account.
