LOL! Only thing that could top this was if you drove home afterwards.

By no means encouraging drink driving, but if you are gunna go retard (drunk hunting) may as well go full retard eh?

No one except for my gang in AA has ever called me a genius man.

Hells yeahs I drove it home.

Hahaha, gold. Ah well at least you seem to have "the first step to... yada yada" nailed =D>

You tend to buy a wagon for their lower profile and hence better fuel economy :)

Yup, I did some reading to educate myself about newer SUVs and learned they're not the gas guzzlers they were a decade ago. I'm open to wagon and crossovers now. I've been looking at cars is use on the road in my area and I keep getting attracted to the CRV.

I bought one. A brand new 2009 during the cash for clunkers program. The VW Jetta TDI wagen was in such low quantity I couldn't get one. I love my CRV, and haven't regretted the purchase for a moment. Ask me anything about it if you are curious.

Can you get groceries and a double stroller (front & back, not side to side) in the trunk?
What have you needed to repair/Are repairs costly?
Is parallel parking a pain in the tucchus or a delightful breeze?

If you've put car seats in the back, I'd love to know any pros and cons on that front.

Thanks!

Not only yes, but my crv had a picnic table in the back built in you could take out and set up . :-)

I dont know if the new CRVs have the picnic table functionality.

But they do have a lot of space, and mine got 30 miles to the gallon unless it was really windy.

It's easy to get groceries in the car...i don't know about a double stroller though, I don't have one. When I'm at my sisters place next weekend I'll try and shove as much crap of her's in the car as possible. I don't have kids so I don't have car seats either, but both rear seats will hold carseats.

I hate the name CRV. It sounds like an industrial tool or something.

So then after buying American all your life, (I know it's early days so far) what do you think of your Japanese car compared to the yank tanks you used to drive round in?

This is kinda funny. My first car was a Mitsubishi Eagle Summit. Then I had a Chevy Caprice Classic, then a Buick Roadmaster. You talk about yank tanks.......those 2 were definitely yank tanks. I like my crv. I also like the other 3 cars. They have all treated me well. Just remember to take photos of your car so you can view them over the years.
