Any arcade game enthusiasts here? I need advice

I'm not sure which is better...Time Crisis 2 or Time Crisis 3.

they're both good for different reasons. time crisis 3 introduced the multiple weapons thing, which was cool, but if you want the traditional shoot 'em up experience with just 8 rounds (maybe more?) in your sole pistol with unlimited reloading by shooting off screen, then 2 is the way to go.

That's what I was thinking too.

Or we could go old fashioned with TC1 with the assault rifle and shield.

Try Sega "Gain Ground" which just came out for PC this past year. You pick up different team-mates with different weapons and skills along the way and need certain ones to beat certain enemies on certain screens. I had a lot of fun with it.
