I actually agree with Night Strike all the way along here, which is rather unusual for me. I especially agree with this:

We don't need to change the definition of marriage. People can sleep with whomever they want to sleep with, but that doesn't mean society must change its definition of marriage.

The government has no right to start dictating who can or cannot sleep with who; but when it comes to trying to change the definition and composition of an institution which has been the fundamental building block of every nation throughout history and then attempting to silence disagreement, it's overstepping its bounds.

But marriage has changed and evolved right thru history like any other institution,its regulation is different in different countries.The age you can legally marry varies wildly.In Thailand there are informal marriages that have no standing in law,but are common in rural areas.You seem to have a very narrow conception of marriage,based on one particular model.

Have you heard anybody talking about punching children other than this one foolish individual saying foolish things in front of his little group in North Carolina? Did he sound like he was trying to keep anything secret? If it were a "dark secret ring", would they "send it out... online"?
