natty, clementines/satsumas are available in most grocery stores in the winter time of USA. They aren't available in large amounts at other times.

Ah yes, winter is the best time to be cute. Especially when you're bundled up in those faux fur eskimo jackets and your ugg boots, walking to class in tights and legwarmers, you sorority sweatshirt tight over your burdensome bosom...

Sorry, got lost in high school memories.

Clementines though, are delicious in the winter. Thank you for clarification chapcrap. They are indeed unavailable, or if so in very small and not delicious quantities (they're often sour and very seedy) in the other times.

Pineapple is great too. But as whitezazaznnz pointed out you can only eat pineapples every week or so. They have anti inflamation properties too.

Navel (still not sure which is correct) oranges on the other hand, are like ugly belly buttons...
That's why they're called "navel oranges", because they have what looks like a navel, or belly button, on them. A naval orange would be one that you eat on a ship at sea. The spelling/grammar fascist strikes again.

double post
Btw. de acuerdo. Strawberries when they are good are awesome, (especially with vanilla ice cream, on corn flakes, or covered in (good) chocolate or sweet yogurt), but when they're not-so-good, meh.

The best is grapes: juicy, flavorful, high in anti-oxidants; I could eat a whole cluster myself and go for more.

Dear strawberries,

I apologize for my behavior last week. You do taste delicious. Please forgive me.

No apologies necessary. Unanimous opinion was that you have to taste a good strawberry to appreciate them. As one of many unofficial ambassadors to strawberries in this thread, I formally welcome you to the fold of people who criticise people who don't like strawberries on the basis that they haven't had a good one yet.

Not fresh. When I say fresh I mean, not trucked in fresh. Chilean, yes. But also, yes.
