Maurice Sendak dies

I suppose it was a good time to make this forum named "Where The Wild Things Are". Maurice wrote and illustrated the book.

Please edit thread title to fix spelling error. His last name is Sendak.

Also, he had a nice, long, distinguished life. We should all be so lucky. Hard to be sad about someone like him dying.

He was also the genius behind Little Bear....anyone with kids will have felt his impact.....RIP Maurice....

Yeah, the books originally came out in the 50's...I remember them as a kid....then the awesome series on Nickelodean that my kids grew up on....so sad ;o(
