That's the risk in making brilliant parody - if you make it too good, most people won't notice that it's parody, and your work ends up attracting all the people you wanted to make fun of in the first place, and the next thing you know, you get cancer and die - and the first thing you're remembered by is that one stupid song you wrote as a joke that nobody understood.
